We’ve had two sets of solar panels installed by Wind Soleil (several years apart) and would not think of using a different company. Teddy at Wind Soleil was knowledgeable, courteous, and very responsive to our unique needs and our numerous questions. He always had time for us and wanted to be confident we were satisfied. The installers (on both occasions) were professional and did a great job cleaning up. We are more than satisfied.

I had given up for a period of at least a year on looking for a Solar company that could help repair my system after calling multiple companies. They couldn't fix my system or couldn't service my area. When I contacted WindSoleil I was not only pleased by the customer service but also thought the price was very fair. I wish I would've known about this company sooner. The money saved by having my system online sooner, would've more than justified paying for the service. My repair specialist diagnosed the problem immediately, tracked down the company of the system I had(because I forgot), made sure the part I needed was shipped to my home for free because it was under warranty. When the part came in WindSoleil sent a representative to install it the very next day. I was surprised not only because how quick they were to come the next day, but that day was an extremely hot day of over 92° degrees. I strongly recommend WindSoleil for any issues you have with your solar panels.

I had my roof replaced and WindSoleil removed and replaced the solar panels. Process was very smooth and easy. All my phone calls were answered promptly. Job well done.

I am very happy with the Windsoleil team and experience. The initial contact, design, and installation all went great. Teddy and team did a perfect job calculating my needs and didn’t try to over sell me more. The system was installed on my garage and connected to the house via an unground trench. During that process we hit a snag but the team didn’t hesitate to make everything work as promised. Teddy was pleasant, professional, and informative. He even climbed up, cleaned and repaired one of my roof gutters. He answered all my questions, was available anytime I called. He clearly explained and helped navigate me through the steps/requirements with the different agencies. I love my system and the peace of mind it has given me as I live in a very rural area and experience power outages a few times a year. I also love the software app and all the information it provides, including my consumption patterns and decency on the grid. It also has a feature to modify my battery storage and usage based on my location weather forecast. Overall, a great experience and one I highly recommend. I had a wonderful experience working with Teddy.

Teddy (owner) was communicative throughout the presale, installation and post-sale process. There were some issues with SREC claiming process with our state, but we are working through it. Windsoleil has a team lead in each of the major steps and each person was communicative and can be easily reached. Teddy operated as the overall General Manager if any issues arise. Things to note, 1. Be ready to be impacted by weather 2. There will be days or weeks between each major steps Major steps and "active" working day for each steps below, Inspection and various electrical grounding per city code (1-3 days) Initial wiring (1 - 2 days) Panel Installation (2 - 3 days) Activation (many days of waiting between the City of Chicago, ComEd and installer) SolarEdge activation (1 day) Other things to think about, Hardware location on your house and aesthetics Location to electric panel and wifi router Inverter inside or outside for maintenance ease Inverter sizing (for potential future expansion)
