So we took our daughter here for the first time last month for a school skate night. I was a little nervous after reading all the negative reviews, but I'm confused. We just took her again tonight with a friend and both experiences were nice. Staff was friendly and full of smiles. I saw reviews about being charged to come back inside after going outside, but I let staff know my husband and I were stepping outside for a moment and they let us back inside with no extra charge or issue. Tonight we tried their pizza, spicy wings, and fries. The pizza does taste like Digiorno pizza, which I dont expect gourmet from a skating place, but it was cooked nicely. The wings were a little small, but thats everywhere now and they were really good. I got worried when I saw breading, but the breading was light and they cooked them to a perfect crisp. The fries tasted like McDonald's fries, but they were fine. They even brought my husbands pizza to us and forgot my extra ranch and she brought it to me. I think the prices are fair. We don't live in the 90's anymore (unfortunately)and things are expensive everywhere. Of course when I was a kid, skate nights were a treat and were never cheap. I didn't feel like $35 for unlimited fun, meaning they could stay open to close, for the 2 girls, was bad at all. They do have to keep the place running. So Im not sure why all the bad reviews, but I'll leave this 5 star review to hopefully help them out, as we've enjoyed our visits thus far.
Went for daughter's school fundraiser. Rented skates from them and ended up falling and hurting my knee when the skate just came apart. There was no screw holding the wheels to the boot. They definitely need to update the skates and maybe start checking them before handing them to customers. Everything else was fantastic. My daughter husband and I had a great time overall.
My daughter attended a birthday party here and absolutely loved it. The party set up was amazing and the staff was professional and very friendly. By the end of the party my daughter(5) was tuckered out from playing on the indoor playground and skating. Update:Both of my children had their birthdays here and I couldn't recommend it more. My son just had his field trip here as and it was still just as good. Friendly staff and easy set up.
Great for kids birthday parties! They had skates and blades. A play structure. Arcade games. Skate support rails for beginners. And much more. I would recommend bringing your own skates or blades though.
I'm not going back. That skate floor is awful! It's like skating uphill and downhill on rocks around the corners! The music was bad too. I've never left a rink early, but I couldn't groove at all. P.s Hip hop music not allowed but dancing queen is
They redid their floor, which looks good. However you can't skate near the tables, where it's really needed to enjoy their food. So skaters have to remove their skates, put their shoes on, then walk over and hope there's an available table. Then they need to put their skates on before skating again. Very inconvenient. This has a 2 star review because the staff are great people, but this is targeted towards the management who made the decision. The ice cream is good.
We came out for a school event which is the only reason we stayed as long as we did. It was nearly $60 just for kids to skate, they want an extra $5 for younger kids to use the "skate mate" to keep from falling, 1 pizza with 4 drinks is $28 and $1.29 per drink refill. The pizza is not good. Oh and no outside food or drink is allowed, not even water….. Additionally they have the music so loud it’s difficult to talk to any one and there is no side room where it’s quieter. Forgot something in your car? You’ll have to repay if you go out and get it. Definitely will not be coming back here.
