If I could give zero stars I would. After a tornado had completely destroyed our house, Blackmon Mooring was running through the neighborhood to "help". My insurance adjuster recommended this company. I was told by Blackmon Mooring that they would clean and store what was salvageable in a temperature controlled facility. I was also told that they produce and submit an unsalvageable list to my insurance for things that they could not clean or was extensively damaged. When I went to visit the warehouse, there was nothing temperature controlled about it. I couldn't inspect anything as all of our stuff was in boxes. After getting our stuff back 3 months later we started going through boxes and it was immediately apparent that nothing was of ours was cleaned. It was simply packed in boxes and left in their warehouse for 3 months. Multiple items were either damaged completely, missing hardware, or certificates of authenticity of art prints, and pans that were packed dirty etc. The icing on the cake, is they did not submit any non-salvegeable list, so I now have to do the leg work and document everything. This "service" cost over $13,000 dollars and I'm trying to understand just what I paid for. Yes the money came from my personal property coverage, not out of pocket. However, if I exceed my coverage limit, I'm out of pocket because of this. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you're not sure what to do with your personal belongings after a natural disaster, flood, etc. I would highly recommend getting a PODS and storing your belongings there. It will not only be cheaper, but at least you'll have the ability to go through everything and clean it and document it as you go. You're going to do that anyway, save the money from your insurance coverage to replace lost belongings instead of wasting it on this company!!!

My experience hopefully wasn't typical, but it was very difficult to get anything done as they couldn't seem to understand that the house sat for a week after the incident before we could be back to have someone do something. We understand that there are limitations but these were not communicated very well and we had to go asking rather than our contact coming to us and discuss things with us. We also felt that they tried to limit the area where the damage occurred rather than take the extra step to engage further. They were hired out by the insurance company and you can tell that they were more worried about what the insurance company would pay rather than taking care of the customer. That was just our experience, hopefully others had better than what we had.

This company was great when mitigating our wet floor. After that it was a poor experience. The estimator made mistake after mistake. Man responsible for supervising the project to replace the flooring was difficult to work with and I had to contact the main office to get the clean up, which was part of the estimated cost, competed. I would never use this company again.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! I needed mold remediation, and they had a team at my house within a week. The staff was professional, kind, and super accommodating with my schedule. Everyone in the house is feeling so much better now. I’d give them 10 stars if I could—highly recommend to anyone in need of this service!

In my experience they were helpful in working with insurance and did not badger me about payment since I had to wait for the insurance. They painted over the paint that a previous repair company did not properly paint match. No extra fuss and I did not ask. Overall, I would use them again.

Had a fantastic experience with Cassidy and the team of this fine company! Cassidy responded quickly, making sure our damaged roof was temporarily covered until the replacement could be completed, along with helping the water mitigation process, indoors. Highly recommend Cassidy & this great company!

Blackmon Mooring just completed a kitchen project for my family. Ryan M was the project manager for this and did an excellent job in communicating with me almost daily about next steps. All the contractors were skilled, punctual and very polite. They worked diligently until the job was completed. I was very pleased with the work and would recommend them.
