Visited the nature center and park today and had an enjoyable time. The nature center itself is quite small, with a few small exhibits. The restrooms are well maintained. There are several trails around the park, going through the woods and thickets. I have some mobility challenges and it wasn't a struggle for me. Really is a choose your own adventure. Lots of turtles, which were a delight to watch. This was the first time I've ever seen a European hornet nest in a tree as well. I thought I caught a picture, but apparently I missed it. Dog friendly. There is a playground for kids. Next time, I'll bring my dogs.

Still a lot of renovations currently (9-01-25) going on. The overall park is nice for short hikes with easy terrain to navigate. Fishing spots are available but I never had much luck there in the past. Dog friendly with disposal bags and trash containers available. Looks like it is shaping up with more improvements on the way.

What a find! Very even trails, covered in shade, surrounded by woods. The trails surround the three ponds and the trees overhead and the water have abundant bird and wildlife. The paved trail is great for strollers and you can always spot turtles and the resident blue herons. Parking is plentiful. I enjoyed the signs identifying local trees.

I recently visited Three Lake Park, and it exceeded my expectations as a perfect spot for walking, running, and leisurely strolls with kids. The park's serene atmosphere, enhanced by its three beautiful lakes, offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Each lake is surrounded by dense trees, creating a calming environment that is ideal for nature lovers. You can choose to circle all three lakes or enjoy each one individually, making it a versatile destination for different preferences. One of the unique features of the park is the opportunity to watch turtles, adding a touch of wildlife to your visit. Benches by the lakes provide perfect spots to sit, unwind, and soak in the scenic views, making it an excellent place to relieve stress. The park also has a dedicated kids' play area, ensuring that children have a great time. Additionally, it is a calm place for fishing, appealing to those looking for a quiet activity. However, it's worth noting that the restrooms are not well-maintained, which could be improved to enhance the overall experience. Despite the restroom issue, Three Lake Park remains a fantastic destination for outdoor activities, offering a peaceful retreat with beautiful lakes and lush surroundings.

Enjoyed walking the trails here. The place was pretty lively; people fishing, walking, picnicking, and kids playing on the playground. Well maintained and great views of the park.

Big, open, clean, accessible park..great playgrounds for young children..well thought out. Equipment & composite turf definitely helps promote safety. Lake, trails & new building & facilities definitely a plus... Exhibit Hall hours are rather limited ..they close at 3PM which seems a bit early.. especially for weekends..Still highly recommended...safe for kids.

They've opened the Nature Center finally. Today was a beautiful day to hike around the lake. As of this day, they are still working on the new bathrooms. 9/15/25.
