I bought a property with Meridee as my realtor. It was very efficient to work with her since she had lots of experience and was able to quickly filter out places that I would be wasting time looking at. I also appreciated the fact that she was not a pushy realtor and was patient during our search. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for residental properties.

I had a very positive experience with Destination Real Estate during the application and pre-leasing process. I specifically worked with Cynthia, who was very responsive to me by text and shared many updates in regard to scheduling showings and application status. While we ended up going with a different property that was not managed by Destination (based on fit), I still wanted to share my appreciation to their team and staff for the hard work and great communication throughout the process.

I worked with Meridee to purchase a multi family family property in Tallahassee. The timing wasn’t the best as I was having surgery the day my offer got accepted. Needless to say, we still managed to close within 3 weeks, because Meridee stayed on top of everything and was engaged throughout the process with my lender and other relevant parties to a mortgage. I love that she never forced anyone on me, but provided a list of options in each category (survey, insurance, inspection, plumbing etc.) and was open to me using those not connected with her. I’ve since closed and she’s now my property manager, and I’m so happy to continue working with her.

My wife and I inherited my parents’ retirement home in 2013. Since 2015 Destination Real Estate’s Meridee Escalera has managed the home as a rental. She and her assistant made the experience easy treating renter and landlord with promptness, respect and integrity. Merridee’s assistant, Ethan, handled arranging all common repairs plus a roof replacement and septic tank replacements. In November 2024 we decided to sell the property when the lease expired April 1, 2025. This is the first real estate we have ever sold. The team at Destination was perfect at handling all aspects, big and small. We were led and reassured through the whole process. Offers came immediately, all higher than our original opener. Meridee helped us sort through five offers and arranged the closing seven weeks after the home went on the market. Over the nine years we could not imagine more competent, friendly agents.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a for profit company but that is all these guys they are. Doesn’t matter who you are or how hard you have worked, these guys aren’t here to get you into your next "dream home" or any home really, they’re here to make money. Someone else will take your money and save you the headache of getting your hopes up.

Meridee Escalera with Destination Real Estate was amazing to work with. We called multiple realtors for a property we came across on a SUNDAY and she was the only one who answered! She seemed to be available day and night for any questions and response time for text or email responses were usually always within minutes. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient and personable. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her again for future transactions.
