Tough to find good staff and people willing to help. Often I have to go to other departments just to find anyone other than customer service and cashiers. Edit 11/5/25 Walked in at around 3:45pm to find a socket. I pulled out the drawers in Tools and was not able to find the right size despite the app saying there were 500 in stock. Went to Customer Service in Lumber where the associate said there were 0 in stock. She told me I needed to look for someone in Paint. Paint told me to go look in tools. By this point I am frustrated because I had already looked in tools. If I could have found it myself, I would have. There was no attempt to walk over to tools or offer to order it.

Lowe’s why do you have your main front isle so crowded with stock that it’s impossible for people to get through? It makes no sense.

My husband and I have been replacing trim in our entire (flip) house,, not only does Lowe’s never carry enough, but you can only order online what’s currently in stock. You can’t place an order for the entire amount you need to finish the project. So for 6 months, we have had to repeatedly drive an hour to the Lowe’s store in mobile, pick up 6 from one store, 8 from another and maybe 11 from another, over and over and over again. It takes up so much time. We’re finally nearly ready to put this flip house up for sale and are on our last stretch of trim. I went onto their app and it said this location had 17, which is 7 short still of what we need, but at least we could complete 2 more rooms. So we drive all the way (an hour), to this store. There are no trim in the bay, so I locate an employee, a heavy set lady in doors and window, instead of her doing her job and trying to locate them, she lazily says they should be here but there not, I will zero them out so you don’t see them available on the app anymore. You should buy them directly from the vendor, it will be faster for you. I was shocked, I thought she might try to locate them, ask how many I need and place an order from her vendor, have them shipped from another store, have them shipped to my house for the inconvenience, you know, try to make sure to do her job and get me my product I need. But nope. On the way out, I told the cashier, she also didn’t offer to problem solve instead just acted shocked by the First Lady’s demeanor in disregarding my need for supplies to finish our project. But she also didn’t offer to help complete the order.

Absolute worst customer service ever. I will never go back here. I was there and tried to ask a question about product and was told to "just read the label" and that was after asking 3 different people for help. Recently my parents (who are senior citizens) went in to buy some sheet rock and there was zero help, they managed to load it onto the cart themselves and when my mom asked if they could get some help loading it onto their vehicle the response she got was "probably not because they’re filling a big order right now" They have that place staffed with people that have terrible customer service skills and know nothing about the products they carry.

My husband and I recently placed a large kitchen remodeling order with Lowe’s, purchasing over 15 cabinetry units, an oven hood, and other appliances. Because of the size of the order, we received a bundle discount. However, when the cabinets were delivered, more than half arrived in terrible condition—some with holes, others completely broken beyond repair. We immediately contacted Lowe’s, and while we were told a manager would call us back on multiple occasions, no one ever did. Frustrated, my husband returned the damaged cabinets to the store himself, only to learn that Lowe’s does not exchange cabinets. Instead, they require a return and repurchase, meaning we lost the bundle discount we were originally given. This is not just an issue of poor service—it feels like a serious business practice problem. It seems to me, under this policy, Lowe’s can offer large discounts for bundled orders, ship damaged products, and then refuse to honor the discount when replacements are needed. This effectively allows them to advertise lower prices without ever having to truly fulfill them, making it impossible for customers to get what they originally paid for at the promised price. To make matters worse, when my husband arrived at the store, no employees offered to help unload the damaged cabinets from his truck or assist him in picking out and loading replacements. For a company that prides itself on home improvement, the lack of customer service and support was incredibly disappointing. Our experience has been frustrating and costly. If you’re considering a large purchase from Lowe’s, be aware of their policies and be prepared for a lack of service if anything goes wrong.

Great place to pick up anything you need. There are actually people working in each department who can answer questions and guide you through the process. Unlike Home Depot!! There is an actual plumber working in the plumbing department. An electrician working in the electrical department. And in appliances a woman who gave me great advice on selecting a washer. WOW what a great place to shop. They will also help you load lumber or bags of concrete.

Second time ordering same day delivery. Not only did the NOT deliver same day, but by the second day (Saturday) they STILL had NOT delivered it by 1:00. I finally call, just to find out that not only do they "NOT deliver on weekends", but that they weren’t able to deliver it AT ALL. We had to scramble and drive to THREE different Lowe’s to piece all of it together and lost TWO FULL DAYS of being able to get work done. I do NOT recommend they’re delivery service
