My partner and I adore Kindred since moving here. It is an absolute must-visit for refillable, sustainable products in Vancouver. It's also so important to invest in small businesses who truly care about the community, now more than ever, and Kindred is so dedicated to giving back. We love everything they stand for and hope to continue shopping in bulk here for many years to come! We always feel so welcomed every time we come in! Such a cute place selling cute gifts I did not know I needed. Discover this during the Vancouver flea market day and walked in out of a whim. There is a table in front offering free bags (bag swap) and every nook and corner were well decorated tables of vintage looking, cute gifting items. My partner and I ended up spending full 30 minutes discovering random things in the store. I love the artsiness of the place and could have spent another hour here.

I LOVE this store. It's more than a store, though, a community center where I can go to make toxic free anything for my home and feel good about doing it. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! Neighbors/community please patron and help this place thrive!

Adore this store! Not only is it a store where you can refill your everyday household items, they have so many amazing gifts and all sorts of really amazing eco friendly items. The owner cares a lot about the community and does events monthly. This shop is an asset to our community for sure!

What started as a quick stop for a recipe ingredient turned into a bit of an adventure- lots to discover at this home supply store. If you like to live more sustainably- forgoing plastics - there are great ways to get ideas for storing - and buying- ingredients and vessels, tools and other home essentials.

There are not enough stores in this town that feel like catching up with an old friend. Kindred is one of them. I have been shopping at Kindred for almost 4 years, and it has felt that way since day 1. Walking through the door feels unclenching your jaw. There’s a sense of safety and belonging. Every single item in the store was thoughtfully selected to be there – It is high quality, sustainably sourced, and supports a small and/or local business owned and operated by good people. It’ll help you live a better life, or make the world a better place, somehow. You’ll find short lists of ingredients you can pronounce, hardly any plastic, and a grounded sense of empowerment that sings, "This isn’t that hard, after all. I can do this." Even weekly visitors are promised new adventures and wonder at Kindred. Things are always moving, shifting, changing. The community and swap table will keep their promise that you won’t ever regret the time you spend lingering at Kindred. The friendly, smiling business owner who gives off the cooler cousin vibes is Alex. Easily approachable by all standards, she has a wealth of knowledge, and she is eager to share. She’ll meet you where you’re and guide you through the process. I can’t promise this to everyone, but something changed in me when I started shopping at Kindred. Something was missing and Kindred filled that space. I feel good shopping there- every little purchase feels like I supported something important because I did. My life feels healthier because it is.

Went to a kids craft event here and got a juice smoothie, as well as a refill on olive oil and a non-alcoholic wine. Lovely! A great addition to our community
