Bought my home and they didn’t install the hvac correctly. It had an undersized breaker. I called in for emergency service and I waited for return call from their tech for an entire day. Called a different place and had the issue fixed within 2 hours.The Carolina tech never called me.

I’m giving one star because of the ongoing issue with my AC unit and the lack of responsibility from Lennar. When I purchased my new home, the AC unit was never installed properly—it hasn’t worked since day one. For the past three years, I’ve been living without proper air conditioning, which has been incredibly frustrating. I reported the issue to Lennar while the unit was still under warranty, but they dismissed it, claiming it was just "too hot outside" and that others were having similar complaints. Now that the warranty period has passed, they refuse to fix it, even though I initially reported the problem on time. Buying a new home should bring peace of mind, not years of discomfort and unresolved issues. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

I purchased a new construction home in 2021, the company did the HVAC install. In December of 2022 I had issues with my home not getting warm, I gave them a call over the holiday and a tech talked me through what to check and advised to turn on auxiliary heat if all else failed. Fast forward a few days later and the issue just got worse, they sent a tech out to investigate and he resolved the issue fairly quickly. Here is why the company earned a 1 star review: (remember they installed the system originally and it is 1yr and a few days old at this point) According to THEIR own tech the system was not programmed correctly, as well as a couple of other things that were pointed out that all had to do with the original install. I was only 5 days outside of my warranty and they still charged me, even though it was their shoddy work that caused the issue. Conclusion: Carolina Air is not to be trusted! What kind of reputable business blames home owners for what they did wrong? The system they installed, is barely over a year old! I didn't find out until a month after closing that they didn't even install air filters in the home! Do not trust this company! P.S. I just discovered a 12x12x1 air filter in my home that I didn't even know existed!....guess they forgot they installed that too! By how filthy it is it looks like that's the only filter they even installed *I specifically asked about which filters I should use etc. back in 2021* Trust is earned and Carolina Air doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Carolina Air was the original installer of my HVAC in my residence in 2018. I recently had a loss of heating and cooling in my house, due to the fan that circulates the air throughout the house to stop working. I called on a Saturday and the gentleman was upfront that there was a $200 charge for the weekend and advised me that if I wait until Monday it would be $99. I opted to wait since heating/cooling was not necessary at the given time. Gary came by on Monday and was quick to diagnose my issue. He was friendly and discussed the issue with me - even showed me what he was doing. I had been working the issue on my own, trying to resolve it but couldn't. He walked me through the issue so I could learn a bit more about how the system overall works. Very nice guy - reasonable rates. Will definitely call again if needed.

My ac is warranted by Carolina Air and a call was made and was told that the on duty technician will call me back . I have a dead air conditioner . It is going in two hours and still no call.

Wonderful , fast , efficient, patient, caring. Our AC went out at about 4:00 on a HOT (100*) North Carolina Friday and we made the call at around 4:45 pm. They returned our call right away. Within 1/2 hour technician Gary Wood was here! I got a text and an email to keep me posted about his arrival time. He arrived with reassurance, patience, advice and a smile. He fixed the problem and didn’t at all seem like he was rushed. This was close of business on a Friday. He gave us pointers on keeping our system up to date and working at its best. He answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Carolina Air Conditioning Company Inc and if you are local I hope you get to meet Gary Wood. He’s got a psssion for what he does.

Great company, came to our home within a day of calling; we had a minor issue. Gary was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help us within 20 minutes.
