I used Rice Heating in 2021 to have my father's gas furnace replaced. Mr. Rice was so nice, punctual and efficient. The pricing was fair and the service clean and courteous. Fast forward to 2025, and after being off for the summer, the furnace stopped working when needed in October. Turned out the condensate pump needed to be replaced. The repair was under warranty, as was another expensive part that Mr. Rice just happened to hear when replacing the pump. I got a call from him and he said he'd heard the sound and preemptively ordered the correct part, again under warranty, saving us many hundreds of dollars. I can't recommend this business more. Stellar people who stand behind the products they sell and install.

I had a York heat pump installed in December 2019 when my old system gave up on Christmas Day! All that went well from the estimate through the installation I received excellent customer service. Recently, as I was getting prepared to sell my home, I had a home inspection October 1, 2025 and found that there were some "issues" in the crawl space related to the drip lines previously installed. Rice Heating sent their guys out to crawl under the house, assess and fix an unhooked duct pipe, then seal the tiny cracks where varmints were entering. They even straightened the vapor barrier when they were under there! Owner Calvin is always gracious, helpful, and empathetic. Todd and Darien arrived promptly and did the work efficiently with smiles. Angelica kept everyone organized and communicated with me. Jasmine sent follow up photos of the work for my buyer to see. Great company! Great people! You can’t go wrong choosing Rice Heating!

I am still shocked at the amazing service I received from Rice Heating! My heat went out and I called first thing on a Friday morning about my issue, expecting I might get an appointment a few weeks out. Less than an hour later, someone was here checking out the system! I needed a new thermostat which the first technician didn’t have with him, but he ensured it would be taken care of right away. I said that it could wait until the following week, but Calvin reassured me it would be done the same day and genuinely cared about my family going into a weekend without heat. A few hours later, another technician came and promptly changed out the thermostat! Everything about this experience was great! The office staff I spoke with, the technicians who were kind and prompt, and the quick and easy billing process- it was all wonderful! I will be utilizing Rice Heating for my future heating and cooling needs!

Shout out to Rice Heating & Air Conditioning for quick and stellar service in getting our gas furnace up and running again! We returned from a vacation on Friday and our furnace wouldn’t ignite. We were able to wait until Monday morning, and Rice’s repairman fixed the problem and also did an inspection and servicing for a couple of other issues. All for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be proactively contacting Rice about a new furnace, because, although our furnace has been very trustworthy, it’s getting to the age where little things might start failing. And a new furnace will be more energy efficient, too! Thanks again Rice!

I had Rices out a month ago to replace my furnace, hot water tank and air conditioner. They did a fantastic job, the new equipment works perfectly. They are reasonably priced and the owner and his employees were careful and respectful on my property. They have checked in with me to make sure all was good. I would recommend them to my family and friends!
