I recently had a new AC system installed in my home and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, AB Heating and Cooling was incredibly quick and efficient — everything was done on schedule and with great attention to detail. What stood out most was their honesty and the clear advice they gave me along the way. They didn’t try to upsell unnecessary extras, but instead guided me to the best solution for my home and budget. Working with Andy was a fantastic experience. I called him with an emergency AC issue in the middle of a heatwave and he was able to come out the same day. The AC condenser on the roof was over 15 years old and leaking freon. He offered two options, the temporary fix of replacing the freon or getting a whole new condenser. I appreciated that he gave me both options. He quoted a reasonable price so I went ahead with getting a new condenser. He was able to come out within a few days and quickly disconnect the old unit and replace with the new one. He was an excellent communicator and responded promptly and took the time to explain and field my questions with a professional demeanor. I plan to work with him for future maintenance work and any issues that arise. I highly recommend working with AB Heating and Cooling.

Andy was sent to my place on June 12, 2025 (by Liberty Home Guard) to diagnose the furnace issue I was experiencing. He stated that the furnace and AC unit needed to be replaced. I contacted him a day or two later after I was able to secure payment; He came out June 18, with a crew member and installed the furnace and because it started raining, Andy and his crewmember had to cease work for safety reasons. He and his crewmember came out the following day (June 19, 2025) and installed the AC unit on the roof of the condo building. Everything seemed to be working fine then on June 30, the AC is not working again. I contacted Andy the same day via text and he didn't respond so I called him that day and he said he may be able to come out that evening to take a look; no call/no show. Texted Andy on the morning of July 2 to see if he was coming out to fix the AC issue; he said he was coming after he stopped at Home Depot for supplies. He arrived and went on the roof to troubleshoot the AC and did some troubleshooting on the furnace; he tried to swap out fuses inside the furnace but it kept tripping. On the roof, he noticed a damaged wire, sent me a picture of it (stating that his crewmember could have did the damage), and repaired it, and installed the new thermostat that he suggested from Amazon. AC works fine until Friday, July 11, 2025; very little cool air is blowing and of course by this morning, July 16, 2025 - no AC yet again. Update: Andy and I had a discussion about the issue; he understood my frustration and respected it. He came out promptly (as usual) and fixed the issue. One thing I can say: he's always willing to come out and resolve any issues (as busy as his schedule is). I can respect his work ethic.

RUN AWAY! I was drawn to their service by the excellent reviews; however, I found out the hard way that the reviews don't tell the whole story. The job that was supposed to be "quick" has lasted over 6 months. Nothing works as described in the contract and we are at a stalemate. They are not interested in completing the job until they receive full payment and I am not interesting in paying until everything works as outlined in the contract. Now I am without AC, heat and hot water!!! Find another company!!!

Having used Andy the previous year initially when my furnace stopped working on a freezing night. He not only came out when it was snowing, but was respectful as well as prompt. Able to get my 20 year old furnace up and running again he did mention he couldn’t guarantee it to be a long term fix and perhaps best to be proactive as when one main component tends to go, so do the rest. Surely this year my furnace has ran its course. Called Andy again and once again was prompt and made selecting a new furnace more seamless than buying a car. 10/10 would recommend!

AB Heating and Cooling is very reliable and professional at what they do. Anything related to HVAC they can do it and you will be guaranteed to be satisfied with their job! Strongly recommend!
