U-Haul Moving & Storage of Eastland

When first arriving to the facility there was nobody at the front counter but there was a manager/ supervisor in the office. We had to wait 3-5 mins before somebody finally walked in. The entire time the manager is just sitting on her phone behind a computer. On her computer she has a big sign that says "go away" and right below her computer is a sign that says "just email me". I did not feel welcome and thought the signage was rude.

I recently had an experience at the U-Haul Eastland location that I found quite frustrating and unlike any other U-Haul corporate office I've dealt with. The manager, Phil, informed me that it was a *requirement* to download an app to rent a truck. I was told there was no other way to complete the rental process unless I had a smartphone with data. This seemed quite unreasonable, as I have never encountered this kind of requirement at any other U-Haul location. Not everyone has a smartphone or data plan, and this policy feels unnecessarily restrictive. It was a significant inconvenience and made the rental process much more complicated than it needed to be. I hope U-Haul considers offering alternative methods for customers who may not have access to a smartphone or data plan. Until then, I would hesitate to recommend this location to anyone who might face similar challenges.

I had a great experience with this U-Haul location. From start to finish, everything was quick and seamless. When I picked up my trailer, the team had me in and out in under 20 minutes—hooked up and ready to go in no time! Returning the trailer was just as smooth. Even with a full house and a packed parking lot, the staff was incredibly efficient and had me wrapped up and on my way again in less than 20 minutes. Really impressed with how they handled such a busy location while keeping things moving. Great job to the whole crew!

I had a great experience renting my uhaul from this location! It was my first time and Jayva was very helpful in explaining the process to me and ensuring I got the best customer service. I would definitely recommend this location! I didn’t get his name in person but the receipt said Jonathon, this gentleman was very kind greeted us immediately upon return and explained the extra charges from extra mileage we had put on. I had an amazing experience from start to finish. It was very convenient and fast to check in/out, the staff was kind and courteous, they connected with me and my boyfriend, felt like borrowing a truck from friends! The vehicle was clean and tank was full. I’d say I had a perfect experience! Thank you all!!!!

The man in charge of checking people in, renting the trucks, is an extraordinary representative of the company. He handled several people at a time switching computers and making everyone feel important. Please acknowledge him. Thank you. Janet Doublier

This location is always amazing! They are always courteous and on time! I've gone here multiple times over the last year and a half and its always amazing!

Double check your reservations before you leave the property. I had extra miles on my reservation that were removed by the location, and as a courtesy with incentives from corporate, I towed a trailer to my destination. they put 2 trailers on the docs but I only had 1 hitch. Friendliness depends on who you interact with at the location too. The drive with an empty trailer was scary for anyone watching as the trailer gets airborne with every bump in the road.
