Thank you guys so much for helping me be more mobile. I haven’t had a bike in eight months and now I get to see Eugene and Springfield in a different light because now I have a bicycle that works! You guys have reasonable prices super friendly customer service I’ve never personally felt so comfortable at a shop before and you guys made me feel right at home gave me the best deal possible and my bike runs like a dream now! Thank you all so much and I encourage people to give the shop a chance because this has to be Eugene‘s premier bicycle repair and sell shop Thank you guys
This bike shop is run by some geniunly great people. They helped me out the other day, when my bike was having trouble on a ride. The dark haired guy with the mustache was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, I will absolutely be back.
I was mid tour on my first tour on my aluminum 3x8 dual sport trek with a lockable front fork and I was really struggling. I wanted to upgrade to a new bike but didn't think I had the budget for it. I had a list of upgrades I wanted to do but I came in to get new rim because both my front and back were shot. I told Chad my situation and he gave me options but then I asked "what about just getting a new bike" I told him I couldn't go a penny over $1000 amd I just was kinda shopping around. He laughed and said his favorite touring bike just happend to be $999 dollars and they had one in stock. It was a miran four corners and it was in my size. I took it for a ride and decided to go for it. They also had the front rack that I wanted, but couldn't put on my old bike because it had forks. So with them closing in like an hour while also having an event going on at the shop he got my racks switched from my old bike and installed my new racks. That was a couple weeks ago and the bike has been amazing. 10x better then my old one. Everything that I wanted to do to my old bike was already done on the new one. Only thing I wish it had was tubeless tires from factory because I've already had 3 flats. Shoutout to Chad for immediately tending to my needs and setting me up with a sweat ass bike. The green one is my old bike the same day I bought the new bike. I did a lot of adjusting and load lightening that day.
awesome bike shop, only a block away from REI in Eugene They are very bent friendly as in Recumbent. They did a fantastic job on my Bella Bachetta putting in new brake pads and a new front rotor and adapter. Also patched up Fairing to block the wind. Border had come off. They will put the chain in a plastic tube from T-cycle (Terra Cycles in Portland) so that I do not have to get my pants dirty on the long chain. Just go here, you will not be disappointed, even if you are a regular "Straight no Chaser" bike.
My chain came off on my way in to Klink for a tune-up, so I arrived 5 minutes before closing. I was just going to drop off my bike, but they put it right up on the rack and assessed it and gave me an estimate. It was ready the next day, a job well done and substantially less than the estimate. Great people and professional work!
I visited the soft re-opening at their new 385 W 2nd location yesterday. They've set up a lovely space! Besides all the nice new Marin and Surly bikes they've always stocked, they now have display space for framesets, custom builds, and *all the bikepacking bags and racks known to man.* Iconically, the two tune-ups they'd taken in that day represent the broad range of work they're willing and able to do: an entry-level, rim-brake MTB and a pristine, custom road bike. Glad to know my favorite shop is open for regular hours again, and I'm looking forward to their "grand" re-opening in May.
Excellent shop that seems to focus on bikepacking, gravel biking and versatile steel frames and hosts a biweekly social ride. I'd recommend them to anyone.
