I was having issues with my motor starving for fuel, I ended calling my sales guy Josh he told me to bring it down on the weekend. They had the issues fixed within a couple hours and I was back on my way home. They have great customer service and great techs. Thanks Josh and Lloyd for the quick turnaround around and being able to get back on the water!!

Buy your boat anywhere else!!! Josh is a train wreck . The management is awful. They drilled holes and mounted a rod rail in the wrong location after multiple attempts to clarify where we wanted it. The finance option they recommended (Sheffield) is trying to rip you off by only providing the rate to the dealer so that Maxxum Marine can take a cut of the interest you pay. Literally made buying our dream boat an absolute nightmare. Please go anywhere else!!!

After researching type of boat that would work for family fishing, we decided to go with a Thunder Jet. Googled dealers and compared inventory, ended up finding 2 very comparable models at Maxxum…Spoke with Josh and explained what we were looking for and he helped us make the decision on what model would work best. Picked out unit and decided what features we needed and went from there…unfortunately Josh was unavailable for a few days and Jim picked up the ball and ran with it from there. During process I was using a broker firm that was confusing with their ways of funding. Maxxum Marine patiently worked with them and myself thru the process. Boat was completed in a timely manner, and as expected, if not better. Best of all, it all came in under budget which allowed me to pick up a few more accessories. In my dealings, hands down top notch customer service, Awesome knowledge base. Even had time to swap a few boat bbq recipe ideas and a few fishing stories. Awesome experience for someone learning the ins and outs of a new boat purchase!! Super excited to be back out on the water, thanks to the whole crew involved at Maxxum!!

Better bring a BIG JOB with BIG $$ if you want ANY attention Don't come here for warranty work or for Mercury products - they won't help you. Over 3 weeks to diagnose an outboard with no solution. I recommend you go to a "preferred dealer" in Portland because this shop won't even call Mercury for help. Preferred dealer in Portland diagnosed and fixed a problem in mere hours when Maxxum techs couldn't find the problem in weeks. Techs solution was to "run the motor until something breaks and then replace the broken part." I called Mercury and they said, "These guys are full of s***, go get your boat and take it to another dealer". Save yourself gas money, stress, and happiness and just take your boat to another shop.

Now this is a shop that understands what customer service is. I called last Thur and talked to Jim about a 50hp Suzuki. He gave me a price that was the best, had it in stock and asked if I wanted it installed on Mon. I chose Wed and he had it on and water tested while I went to breakfast and took my pup for a walk. I live in Cascade Locks so having it done while I waited saved me many hours of driving back and forth. Clean shop and very professional. I will be recommending Maxxum to my friends. Thanks Jim

My wife and I could not have had a better experience purchasing our boat at Maxxum. Jim was our sales representative and wow, what a wealth of knowledge this man has when it comes to boats and fishing! He made sure we got all the add-ons and upgrades to make sure our boat would perform how we needed it to based on our personal needs. He even personally took us out on the water for a few hours after finalizing our purchase to explain all the features and show us how to operate our boat. Also, I want to mention what an amazing job the service department does. Everything I have had upgraded on my boat has been installed with precision and attention to detail, and you can tell that they take great pride in jobs done well. You cannot get better service than that, and I will continue to give all my business to this amazing company!

Everything was going well... Until they made the sale of a new boat motor...once they got there money the service went down hill, poor customer service and communication... THEN.... We took the boat out for a break in and the new gage they put in didn't work and our C.B. radio had no power, if we would have been out on the ocean..we could have been in big trouble..... I would have thought that they would have shown us how to use the gage and new things about the motor. NOT Very poor follow through on there part......not a good experience
