Had an order for flooring online that never got delivered. This store helped me find out what happened, and helped me leave with the better quality flooring instead of the order that was undelivered. The associates were all so kind and understanding. It really was a big mess and I’m very pleased with how they treated me even though my order initially came through "online only". Beautiful LP flooring and molding.

Five star rating for the team running the kids workshops! September and Octobers events were smooth, well organized and team members were so friendly and helpful. We’ve done HD kids workshops all over the country and this set up is stellar, paint area is great and has so many colors. Staff are helpful with the workshop, so supportive and encouraging to the kids and quickly let you know where to find what you’re shopping for. Nothing but praise for this team, can’t wait for Novembers workshop!

HD def has some improvements they can make as a big player in the space, however this is my "go to" store for individual projects as well as my dads company. Today Green Acres HD deserves a good review - all, literally ALL the associates were so awesome to me I took over the last isle for 2ish hours cutting up some foam boards for old house window insulation. I was also able to help 4:5 customers while there too. They let me use the tools: the giant T measure, knife, blue tape & marker (as I left mine at home). When I went back from loading the car to clean up the Styrofoam mess, they beat me to it. HD defiantly had more space then my place for this and now it fit in the car. Thanks! 🙂 **I wish I took a pic- if yall have one- please share 🙂

This store really lacks in customer service and support. I've experienced numerous issues with the staff not understanding how take care of their customers over the past year. Two major things have occurred (that I'll outline shortly) that have resulted in me taking my business to the Home Depot on Seneca in Eugene, or other local competitors. I will no longer be going in to this store. Last year for Christmas I received a gift card from my mother-in-law and was having problems with redeeming it online. Some of the required numbers on the back of the card had rubbed off. So, I go to this store to see if they can do anything and I was told "You'll have to call the phone number on the back and provide them with the card number to get a new gift card issued." I was dumbfounded. I asked the the girl (and showed her the card missing some of the numbers) "how am I supposed to do that when the numbers are missing?" She grinned and said I'd have to call the number on the back and provide the card number, then proceeded to talk to me as though I'm an idiot. I worked for Home Depot in California over twenty years ago and back then we'd able to scan a gift card to verify the fund amount on it and then issue a new card, if needed. Has the big orange store changed their procedure on this, or are folks at this store not trained to take care of their customer base? So I left, chalking it up to "this person makes minimum wage, working in a hectic environment, and deals with annoying customers all day...it's not personal." A few more visits to the store after this also resulted in poor answers, understanding, or customer service on simple things like "Where can I find X? Do you carry Y? etc." Today was the final straw. I'm in the middle of a painting project at my house and have some leftover paint from a project I did earlier this spring...about half a gallon. I figured since I need supplies for my current project, I'll take the paint can with me and ask to spin it in the mixer (I've been a professional painter for 20+ years and this has never been an issue ever in my life). The two young folks working in the paint center wouldn't spin the can (Behr paint, I might add, which is practically a HD exclusive brand). I asked why they couldn't spin it in the mixer and they said "There's not enough paint in the can. With this little paint it will come out of the machine." I was dumbfounded and said I've never heard that in all my years as a professional painter. The girl behind the counter said "That's how I was trained, so I can't do it." Then the guy behind the counter said I could mix it with a paint stick (really? You guys only give those things out for free...I had never thought to mix it with a stick). Needless to say I walked right out of the store without spending a dime. I've gone to stores that carry paint brands other than what I'm using on particular jobs and have never gotten grief about spinning it...because most businesses understand that if you take care of your customer, they'll spend money in the store instead of walking out to never return. This store must be making so much money that they don't need my business, so they won't get it.

I just wanted to praise an employee at the Green Acres store. He went above and beyond to help me with my order. I only got his first name, Johnny. He was wonderful. I can't say enough about him. He saw an elderly lady pushing a flat cart that was exhausted and helped me get my merchandise on my cart, recognized I was hot, payed for a bottle, and helped me load the bricks in my car.
