Ordered this cake and picked it up today. Cut into it and this is what I got.... Called and talked to store manager Sean and was told that it depends on whoever was making it. Now I have to go back to the store and talk to customer service and see what they decide to do about it..... how about you teach your people how to make the chantilly filled cakes like they advertised in the first place!! I live 40 minutes away and specifically ordered from here because I love chantilly. Not only that, I was overcharged to begin with.

I am not sure what happened but Kroger has stepped up their game. We had stop going for a while due to the place not being clean and there was hardly any customer service. We wanted to try them out. I had my reservations but due to the convenience factor we prevailed in going to Kroger. We were impressed on how clean the place was and the staff was so warm and welcoming. The produce and meat sections looked amazing and the prices were decent. We will be going more often now and we hope it was not just a fluke.

My issue with this location is a hit or miss on how the staff is going to assist you. You definitely do not want to go in early and buy a whole shopping cart with the groceries at 8 AM. They still do not have any regular checkout lines available and today the lady at self check out wouldn’t even offer to call somebody up to assist. Any substantial grocery shopping I do from here on out will be done at H-E-B. Oh, and why is the gas prices consistently higher than any of the other gas stations in the area? That wouldn’t be the offset that discount we get from our points is it?

I have shopped at this Kroger regularly for the past 2 years and I have to say, this location has hands down the worst deli counter I have ever experienced at any grocery store ever (and I'm not really sure it’s even close). If you don’t believe me, go try it yourself. If you want to get lunch meat or cheese sliced at the counter it is such a hassle and ordeal. For starters, the deli counter employees are exceptionally slow, they put no effort in to doing a good or accurate job, and frankly the employees act burdened to have to do so. Over the past two years, I have probably had roughly 20-30 encounters with the deli counter where I have went to get meat sliced to order and in all honesty I have never witnessed a more incompetent operation. I have had employees refuse to look up and help, instead they just act like they are busy doing something else. I have had employees refuse to slice thin cut slices. I have had employees tell me they were "sold out" and to just grab the pre-sliced meat even though I could clearly see they were not. I have had an employee slice the wrong meat and label it as if it was not wrong (I ordered ham and received turkey with a ham label). And I once received spoiled meat the smelled so bad I had to pull over and throw it out before I made it home. Kroger please make a change!!!

The gas station outside of the Kroger needs to be coached on customer service. I went up there to grab a drink and was told to wait a minute as a women in a bucket hat dark shirt hair asked me to hold on while she finished entering in something in her system. I sat there (timed it on purpose) for four minutes and decided to put the drink back and walk away. A customer should never have to wait that long to get assistance while someone else was standing behind her.

Nice, clean store, always have sale items in stock. Wine selection good, fuel points a plus, bakery, deli, I can even get my car registration stickers.
