Goodguys Tire and Auto

Ohhh Dustin is probably shaking in his boots to read my review. Lol. To start, my car is a POS. She is old and she needs TLC. After work on a Friday, she wouldn't start. UGH! $130 tow later we ended up parking her at Good Guys on Herndon and Brawley. The next day my mother and I went to the store at 8am to discuss the issue and get the fixing started. By 12 I got a call that it was more than likely my starter and during the removal process of getting it out, the radiator hose broke. So my bill went from $700ish to $1k in a split second which made my heart skip a beat. I didn't get another call that day so I decided to go to the store at closing to pick her up. When I got there they were very quiet and looked nervous. My car was still suspended in the air and she still wasn't starting. I was asked if I could leave my car until Monday. Well Monday came and went with no car. I got frustrated and went back over to see what the heck was going on since no one was calling me. When I got there I was introduced to Dustin. He just became the store supervisor 4 hours before I got there. He was confident, he was honest about the lack of experience the tech had while looking at my car and that he himself would handle my car issue. She needed extensive research because they didn't know if it was electrical or not and there are ALOT of wires in a car. All in All, Dustin came through for me and got my baby running again. This is a relatively new location so it has some growing pains to get through. If you need an oil change or a tire change, they are absolutely amazing. If you need some extensive vehicle tech work done, you may want to go someplace else. Not every car place will be able to help your car but communication is what makes a huge difference. Dustin's communication made me feel better about the situation and in the end, they got it done. Thanks guys!

These guys were great! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. They had a great deal on the tires I wanted and they worked every angle to give me the best price possible.

Went in after a long day at work to have a tire repaired….very efficient and polite people! They also honored a free oil change from a former manager. I really appreciate these guys and the quick services they provide. Will definitely be back when I need new tires.

I would like to say that I absolutely love the service here at good guys. Ismael and Jack were very kind at the front desk. I was happy to know that they were understanding of my needs and I feel safe driving my vehicle after it was repaired with them thank you very much for your professional service. I look forward to recommending my friends and family and returning!

The Goodguys did a fantastic job of fixing my front low beam headlight on my vehicle. They were able to get the part within 20-30 minutes and had me all done within an hour. The service rep was very helpful and personable.

Your new manager(?) or front desk guy Chris at your store on Brawley Ave was top notch. When I got there, there was only a couple of us, he was a man short, and he was hustling! I appreciated the fact that he was upfront about not knowing all of the operational procedures, but was diligent about reaching out to employees from other stores for help. He was courteous, professional, and even though he got slammed about an hour after I arrived, he never lost his cool, or showed any signs of frustration. He handled it like a boss, and his customer service was stellar. It was very encouraging to watch, as most of us old school customers out there feel like quality retail customer service was killed some time ago by apathetic, lazy, unprofessional, teenager, minimum wage workers. Give that guy a raise and a high five, he's gonna go places. Also tell him Dave with the Tesla stereo said "thanks for getting me in and out and handling himself like a boss!" Also, big thanks to the installers as well, I couldn't find my wheel lock key/socket and they didn't give up looking for one in the shop. Seems like most workers nowadays go out of their way to NOT help customers...not these guys. You have a good team and I hope you treat them well and try your hardest to keep them around!

The guys here have been amazing. They were so great, and very kind. I was having issues with my brand new car. And they helped me out so much, gave me great advice and even waived some fees for me because they saw I was going through it. I’m glad progressive brought me to them, because I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. Thank you so much guys!
