Omg the whole crew here from walking in was absolutely AMAZING!!! Kenneth was our first stop here & if I could give him 100 stars I would we talked found out what we were looking for what we were going to be pulling the camper with to make sure it was going to work to taking us on the lot to look at a few did such a great job with everything, to Josh that ran the numbers to getting us finalized, to the crew that showed us everything we needed to know from set up to break down can't say enough great things about this whole process GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE THAT WAS INVOLVED ! My husband & I went to another place prior to this stop & after leaving there almost gave up looking just because of the way things went at the other place. Until we went looking here. Yesterday we drove our camper home to start our next adventures & it was all thanks to every person on this team at camping world ! These people were absolutely SO SO amazing.
Great over night parking with our Good Sam membership. Nice and quiet. Great place to navigate from to tour Grand Rapids and area for the week
I recently purchased a travel trailer through long-distance communication, and the entire experience was handled professionally and efficiently by a stellar team. Jon Brancheau did an excellent job working with me to reach a fair price on my new unit. He was communicative throughout the process and even made himself available at pickup to ensure everything went smoothly. Jon is personable, helpful, and clearly committed to customer satisfaction. Scott Boone, the manager I had the pleasure of working with, was incredibly accommodating and answered all of my questions thoroughly. His involvement helped solidify my confidence in the deal, and I greatly appreciated his transparency and support. Kaedence Slater in Parts and Service was also a standout—she answered every question I had and made thoughtful gear recommendations. As a first-time travel trailer owner, her knowledge was invaluable. Terry did a great job walking me through the trailer systems. In hindsight, I wish I had asked for a demo of the outdoor gas stove—but I’ve since figured it out. Chandler in the service department was quick to address a few minor discrepancies found during the walk-through. He also installed the weight distribution/sway hitch and gave me clear, confident instructions to ensure safe travel. Very well done. Hannah and Josh also deserve a shoutout for their excellent service and support throughout the process. All in all, this was a fantastic team that made my purchase and pickup experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend purchasing a camper from this dealership. One small gripe: I hired a third-party inspector for a pre-purchase inspection—something I do for any major purchase (boats, aircraft, RVs, etc.). Although I gave the dealership plenty of notice, not all systems could be tested since the unit was new and the propane and batteries weren’t installed until pickup day. Had I known this policy (and had my inspector known as well), we could have come better prepared. That said, all systems appear to be working great, and I’m fully aware that maintenance and repairs are a normal part of RV ownership—even with a brand-new camper. In summary, I’m thrilled with my purchase and the support I received. This team truly goes above and beyond.
Thank you Camping World of Grand Rapids, MI! We visited on the busiest weekend of the year - Memorial Day Weekend. We had an idea of what we were looking for, but needed expert guidance. Jon, our sales rep, was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, flexible and took his time taking us to see every model we needed to make an educated decision on our RV. Collin and Josh in the finance department assisted us through the process, and helped us with our credit union, closing, and were so wonderful to work with. The service team was stellar, thoroughly taking us through the unit, front to back, inside and out. They explained everything, making us feel at ease taking our new RV home. As an informed shopper, I absolutely recommend Camping World of Grand Rapids, MI as a new and used camper dealer and rv service center. Thank you!
Went in today and was able to pick up all the furniture and parts I need for our Motorhome. Hay Hay was amazing to work with and Her bubbly nature made my wife and I smile. She needs a raise.
If I could give zero stars, I would. We purchased a 3-year-old camper from this dealership just two weeks ago, and it’s been a nightmare from start to finish. The finance process was chaotic, disorganized, and incredibly frustrating — and once we finally got the unit home, things only got worse. For the $2,500 "prep fee" that they claim covers inspection, cleaning, and readiness, we expected a safe, clean, functional camper. Instead, we got a disaster: 1. Unsafe hitch installation: The fifth-wheel hitch had a custom attachment that destroyed our standard hitch and made the drive home dangerous. 2. Filthy bathroom: The bathroom was never cleaned — hard-water stains on the shower walls, soap scum, and grime everywhere. It was obvious no one even tried. 3. Falling trim: The door and slide trim literally fell off when we touched it. 4. Full and filthy tanks: The fresh water, hot water, and black tanks were all full. The smell was unbearable — the black tank was completely backed up. For the amount of money we spent — and the mandatory prep fee — this is unacceptable and downright negligent. We trusted them to deliver a camper ready for the road. What we got instead was a headache, a mess, and a long list of repairs before we could even use it. Buyers beware: double-check everything before you sign. Don’t assume their "prep" means the camper is ready. It isn’t.
I have to be honest here. The ladies are always friendly. We had an older gentleman today was was extremely pleasant and helpful. However, there was a middle aged guy with dark hair at the front welcome desk with a young lady who was very rude. And we were in there last week and I asked a very slim guy with dark hair a couple of simple questions and he rudely told me to go to checkout and they will help. But he was very hostile. We signed up for an elite membership but I dont think we will renew it. A location in Kentucky, the south, was friendlier, somehow. Disappointed in some of the men at this location.
