UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Grand Rapids

Units has been an amazing option for us!! They dropped off the unit at our house, we moved everything into it and then Connor (he was punctual, kind and professional) from units came and picked it up and brought it to the next destination where we will rent it until our house is built. No need to move things twice, so convenient and very reasonable prices! This is a local company and we like to support local businesses.

I recently used UNITS Moving and Portable Storage for a complex, multi-location move, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The process involved three different units being delivered and picked up at three separate addresses, each on a different schedule—and they handled it all flawlessly. The total cost was actually less than I expected, and the value was outstanding. Every member of the delivery team was prompt, professional, and incredibly courteous. Most importantly, they treated my belongings with genuine care and concern, which gave me real peace of mind throughout the move. It’s rare to find a company that gets the logistics, the customer service, and the pricing all right—but UNITS absolutely delivered. Highly recommended!

Above & Beyond expectations! Customer service could be their middle name. I arranged delivery of a pod - and got a text when there were near. The unit was dropped off exactly as I asked. The process was easy. I ended up being one of those customers whose plans kept changing. And not once was I made to feel i was being a bother. That is rare! Once we were close to knowing when we wanted the unit picked up and moved to a new location all I needed was give them a call and it was arrange. And then when we decided over the weekend we wanted to switch the move from Monday to Tuesday that was no problem. And then when we wanted the final pick up day changed, that also was no problem.

I’m so glad I chose this company for my move! Much better experience than U-Haul or PODS. Mindi and Matt were incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. Best moving decision!

I highly recommend UNITS for your moving and storage container needs. We have found them to be very prompt, reliable and fair with their pricing. Their communication for both delivery and pick up is outstanding! We had two different drivers deliver our containers and both of them were kind, courteous and accurate with the placement of the UNIT!

I can't express enough how amazing UNITS was for me in the midst of my chaotic multi location move. The customer service was phenomenal! Mindy was extremely helpful and accommodating to my constant changes. The service was very affordable in comparison to the other pod service. The only feedback I have is it would have been nice to schedule exact pickup and delivery times. It was a little hectic scheduling the movers around when you would hope the pod would be delivered, but we made due. Overall very pleased, and looking forward to using them again.

Customer service was very courteous, helpful & professional. Delivery driver was knowledgeable, efficient & very friendly. Drop off took about 15 minutes. The unit was extremely clean. Better price point compared to other storage unit providers.
