I always come here for soil, mulch, garden tools and plants. They didn't have many perennial plants available on this visit. Plenty of annuals. Beautiful poinsettias are available for low prices. Staff is friendly. Parking lot under construction getting ready for Christmas tree lot. Many colorful flowers on display.
I like the garden center here it's full of nice plants and flowers that we like to plant in our garden. The prices are pretty good also. I recently bought some garden tools including a shovel, shears, and a garden hoe and it was like only $50.
The Garden Manager at Home Depot on Warner in HB is the best example of concerned service I've seen at HD in a long time. My husband & I were both ill & didn't really feel like shopping for a Christmas tree, but with relatives coming from Europe for the holidays, we had no choice. The Garden Manager (I wish I'd asked his name) was working the tree lot & gave us the most amazing service, giving us help with the right stand, explaining how to stabilize the tree, loading it onto our car & tying it down. We are so grateful for his help.
JUST GO TO LOWES. Everyone here at home depot is incompitent. I was transferred to 6 departments because no one knows what the hell a ceiling tile is. They sent me from kitchen and bathroon design to electrical to a different person fron electrical to plumbing to lumber and building materials then tried to send me to flooring before i had enough. Try training your employees properly because they are terrible. Just go to Lowe's right down the street (still on warner) between beach and newland, if they cant help you they at least know what department can.
Awesome Time here the plants are abundant,the staff was very helpful, looking forward to many visits to this store.
Its good. Some of the most helpful HD employees are in the garden depart, imo. Some of the more knowledgeable too.
Love the air plants and bromeliads.
