I’m just trying to get in contact with a human to let you know my dad passed and I need to have his bills sent to me until we sell the home . I have left several messages and emailed , also requested call back after holding for an hour a few times now . No one calls . I was just not going to pay bill then I found out I can’t use evergy this is my only option so I’m now stuck dealing w the worse company I’ve ever dealt with in my life . Worse experience but they don’t care because it’s your only option . Sad what has come of this world lately . Suggestion hire more people to answer your phones .
I wish I could give it half a star. I just spent 1 hr 45 mins on hold to talk with customer service. Not sure who the CEO is of BPU but there needs to be a change. The rep handled my frustration very well. She said they were short staffed. I didn’t get into the details but BPU is mismanaged. It’s unfortunate we do not have a choice in who we can use for utility. It is like BPU has a monopoly in Wyandotte County.
The call center is rude, unhelpful, and unintelligent. Your power will be cut by mistake and you’ll have to wait all day for it to be restored. The staff is short tempered and just want you off the phone, no one wants to solve problems. Horrible service and company.
0/5 stars, their AI robot is not smart and takes too long to get through all their unnecessary questions when I’m trying to report an outage. Considering going to the BBB because living in the same house for 3 years and experienced maybe 5 total days that would make sense if we lost power due to weather, but it’s been nothing but sunny days for the past week and a half with no intense wind or rain and my power goes out on a Saturday at 6:30pm. Terrible service for an insane price
Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. For some reason, they took payment twice from us this month. We now have the 2nd payment as "credit" in our account. I attempted to talk to them about this situation. Was on hold for over 20 minutes, then was told I could not talk to them about this since it's not my name on the account. It's my wife's name, and the bank account and our home is under BOTH of our names. My wife tried to call, and was on hold for over an hour. Selected to receive a call back, and never heard from them. Unbelievable. 0/5. Contacting my bank today.
This is the worst experience I have had with a utility company. It is not allowing me to do what I need to do online. I even tried resetting my password, yet I NEVER receive the email. I call Customer Service and sit on the phone for well over an hour and no one ever comes on the line. This happens every time I call. I have been trying to cancel service for over a week now. Now I have to set an appointment that is over a week away. Yet another week of service that should have been cancelled. This is beyond ridiculous.
Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Our electric and water bill is $600 for our first month. No one can tell me why it says we used 24,000 gallons of water and our bill was dated for 3 weeks of usage. We just moved in. No pools, no sprinklers no visible leaks. We set up a meeting to meet with them this morning, at 9:15, no one answered the email system, phone number or door. They are SO unbelievably scammy.
