The Home Depot

Decent priced store, at times you can find great deals on clearance items!! So worth it!! Not always on point with customer service however. Looking for help needed to get it done myself as no one was available. Was trying to measure a piece of plexiglass for a window, finally found someone to ask about getting it cut like the sign above the plexiglass states they do and was told no, they don't cut it in that store, Bannister location. So, found a tape measure and bought a piece close to size with the cutting tool.

The rental center here is a lifesaver. I need it to get a drain unplugged and was able to quickly and easily run a 75 ft snake that got the job done in 5 minutes. I'm Mexican food in the parking lot out of the back of the van was to die for

I had a wonderful experience at the Home Depot on Bannister in Kansas City! Manager Joe went above and beyond to help me. Not only did he take the time to answer my question, but he also explained everything in great detail so that I fully understood. His patience, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out. It’s rare to find customer service at this level, and Joe made my shopping experience smooth and stress-free. I really appreciate the effort he put in—I’ll definitely be coming back to this location because of his outstanding service!

I needed to get a lot of insulation, most of the time when I go to different Home Depots I have a hard time finding an employee in the lumber area, let alone one that is willing to help, these three were not only willing, but they offered to help! And they did it with a great attitude! They really went above and beyond including helping me load it in my trailer! I was so super grateful that I asked if they'd mind me taking their picture so I could give them a review!

Went in for some plywood and had it cut for free of course. The store was neat and clean while all the workers were super nice and all of them spoke to us that we crossed paths with. Walt back in the cutting area was super friendly and great conversation while we waited for him to finish.

I come to this store often only because I come here first before going to the "other" store to compare pricing. It just seems like this store is so disorganized. It is hard to find someone to help you. Even just asking a simple question is hard. There have been a few times I have gone into the store and there's a young guy there that will speak to you and ask you if there's anything he can help you with. He has done this the last two times I've gone to the store. I was really looking for him today and he wasn't there. It does seem like they have a high turnover and I believe another issue with getting help is that their concentration is on self-checkout. That is a no-brainer and we know the reason why. You can find plenty of staff down at the self-checkout area. I just wish this store would reorganize, cleanup, add a few more staff members, and be a little more courteous, available to the customers that come to their local neighborhood store. (I believe in supporting my local community) I still recommend the store.I will probably still go in there and I hope I see that young man that's always speak and helps.

I had a problem with a tool rental. The problem doesn't matter, but after multiple attempts to resolve, I gave it one last try (and visit to the store) to resolve. Larry and Londell (sp?) fixed it all in a matter of minutes! Not only that, but they were genuinely great people. As I told Larry, "you just went from a one star to a five star review. Thank you!" Sometimes, it's not about getting everything right. Mistakes happen. Sometimes, how you fix the mistake means everything. Well done, Larry, Londell, and Home Depot! I'll be back.
