I had an excellent experience with All My Sons! The moving crew was professional, efficient, and very careful with my belongings. A special shoutout to our team lead, Thomas, who did a wonderful job coordinating everything and keeping the move stress-free. Thomas and his team was organized, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly. I highly recommend Thomas and his team with the All My Sons team if you’re looking for a reliable moving company. They truly made the process smooth and easy from start to finish! Thank you!! the Smith family
We got a call the day of the move that our team was sick and they would be late. No big deal. We were set between 8 and 10 and they showed a little after 1. When we called, we had mentioned we would likely need 3 people for the job- the Booker said no 2 will be sufficient by description. The movers seemed nice enough, but clearly overworked. They didnt finish til after 11pm at night- worked the whole time. In addition they have to call at like 7am the next day to ask you to review them. We reached out to the company after the move, to see if they would fix anything, but have not heard back. Our door frames were scratched up ,the floors were scratched up,multiple pieces of furniture damaged. We are having to repaint and fix things to list our house and our furniture looks like trash now. Chips on tables, Scratches all over one of our cabinets.
The first crew couldn’t move my piano because it was so heavy. They took it apart and wrapped it but they damaged it when they tried to move it. The front edge of the piano is splintered. The piano stool is cracked and there are now a couple dead keys that I am going to have to figure out how to repair. The second crew that actually moved the piano did a great job bringing it in and putting it together. They were very friendly and nice. I have used all my sons before without a problem but I’m very disappointed about how damaged this 150 year old piano is with this move.
While Eli and his crew were amazing and absolutely killed it on the move, the person that quoted our move was absolutely TRAGIC. Seemed great on the phone and the virtual walk through, but underquoted us by a WHOLE TRUCK. We were told by the manager that they essentially couldn’t do anything since it was a contract across state lines. While I understand this couldn’t be changed or a refund provided due to audits, they should have sent out another truck for us. He did offer for his guys to load and unload the U-Haul we had to rent. However, due to their time restrictions via the government, we were stuck having to finish loading by ourselves the following day when we were already supposed to be on the road and they just left us with the remainder. Also, once again, due to governmental restrictions and that they were requiring Eli to be back by a certain time (not a government restriction on that) they didn’t finish helping us unload either even though we have it in writing via email that this would be provided. Thankfully, we did have friends where we were heading to, but having to call in reinforcements should have never happened. Has anyone reached out past the move outside of for a review apologizing for everything? Of course not, but watch them respond to this so apologetically. Update: All My Sons reached out to my husband and I to have a discussion. We let them know what time we were available and they said to call/text when we were able. We also reached out at the time and got no response. This was a on Friday afternoon around 4pm, so waiting to see what happens Monday. Update 2: 2 weeks after posting this review and haven’t heard anything. Big surprise. Adding pictures of the "packing" job they did. I told them to please wrap the china multiple times and very carefully. Instead they left it in the storage bags and broke multiple pieces.
Very disappointed in our second move using AMS. Our first move went great and nothing was broken, but our second move was not a great experience. See below for photos. Both of my tvs were broken, some of our wedding glasses were broken in the boxes, and three expensive peices of my furniture were sratched and dented. I understand that things break such as glasses during moves so I dont care about that as much. But the furniture and tvs is just careless work especially since I moved everything myself without scratching or breaking anything so I know its possible with 3 movers. I have spent the last two weeks trying to get a claims ticket but getting no luck because the numbers and emails I am given to reach out to render no response or dont exist anymore. Overall I wish I moved myself because now I have to fix/replace expensive items that cost more than the move itself. Don't even bother getting the insurance they won't cover your stuff that you worked hard to pay for.
The best moving experience I could’ve asked for. All my Sons Moving and Storage exceeded my expectations. They made things right when a scheduling error occured and on moving day Thomas and Dakota were absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure the move was professional and efficient. They didn’t waste any time or attempt upcharge me. They made the move feel easy and efforless. I will be a repeat customer. If you read this Thomas and Dakota thank you again. If you’re considering moving and are on the fence about this company book them. You won’t be disappointed.
I had an overall great experience with planning the move and ensuring that the equipment and staff needed for the move arrived on time and prepared to handle the volume of furniture and packing that was required. However, I could not have been more displeased with the move itself. We were told that our furniture would be wrapped in its entirety when in fact that wasn’t the case, as the legs of the furniture were left exposed, and therefore arrived at our new house damaged. In addition, personal belongings that required wrapping, for example, glassware, did not fully get wrapped and we had multiple broken pieces shattered within boxes that were essentially Random items thrown together in a box with complete disregard for maintaining the integrity of those belongings during the travel. I would say that at least 50% of our items came to our new house damaged in some small or large way. I had very high hopes based on prior reviews, but I could not have been more displeased in the end. I am including photos of one small example, simply because we are still trying to pick up the pieces during our process of relocating.
