I have had multiple issues with this company. When they installed my panels I was promised to never have another evergy bill again and that I would even receive money from Evergy. I was told we would produce more energy than we would use. Run away from this company.
I started the process of solar installation in April and upto date it's not completed, after they left a heap of trash outside my garage, the panels started leaking through my roof and left my ceiling stained. I need someone to come and complete the job otherwise am calling Enfin and canceling the whole process and come remove their panels. I am so disappointed with the company. I am giving them two days before I cance the contract
Installation started out great got the system installed in record time before our electric company even did final approval aside from a breaker we were told was on back order and apparently didn’t come in for 3+ months then they suddenly had 8 more hours of work to do. Now the system is operational but the battery packs that were supposed to act as a back up generator and secondary system for peak hours aren’t functioning properly and the electricians just made the decision what things needed to be backed up instead of asking us also now trying to get this fixed has been tantamount to an act of congress, there’s only one person you can call he almost never answers, until 2 weeks ago you couldn’t leave a message the phone just rang. Now you can leave a message and he eventually calls back—not timely and gives no exact timeline on fixing things. Clear earth has been great but I would not recommend working with this company, they aren’t really eager to stand behind their work, can’t imagine the headache if something went wrong and we needed our system repaired
I have had multiple issues with this company. They installed my panels 3 years ago. I was promised to never have another evergy bill again and that I would even receive money from Evergy. I was told we would produce more energy than we would use. Summertime is great no electric bill. But winter is another story. Last winter my bills ran about $350 on top of solar payment. During install(3 years ago)my breaker box caught on fire and is still upside down. I have called and texted multiple times with no response. However they did send someone out after the first of the year to look at the breaker box and one of my panels that is not producing. But they have failed to respond since then. I’ve even asked if someone could check to make sure my production is where it should be and no response. This has been going on for 3 years. I did not want to post a bad review but after 3 years, I feel like I’ve waited long enough for answer. My next step will be to call enphase to see if they can help. Solar panels was a huge mistake that I will now be paying on for a very long time.
Huge regret. They dramatically overstate the energy production power of their product. They promised that our solar loan would be the only energy bill we were paying. They promised that their solar panels would generate more power than we were actually using. It is approximately fifty percent effective, generally speaking. We are paying MORE for the privilege of solar panels. Customer service is practically useless. After two years, they finished setting it up. Energy production is still simply not worth the expense. I'm not sure what to call a business that can not deliver on their promises.
Things started out great, but went downhill during the install ... the crew that installed panels on my house no longer work for Valoa and their new install crew does solid work. First off, my salesperson, Brian was excellent. He stuck with me through the 4-6 months that it took for me to decide what I wanted and who I wanted to do business with. Great communication and very personable. After the panels were installed, the installers left ALL of their trash in my yard that I had to clean up and bundle for someone to take away, which took almost two weeks with me constantly asking when it would happen and with one no show date to come and go. After they took the main trash (boxes and wrappings), I found all the electrical / wire nuts / zip ties through out my gravel driveway, yard, roof and gutter that I had to clean up or have them return to clean up. They also did not clean the floor in my home after drilling through joists to run electricity. Basically the crew I had came, installed and left and did ZERO cleanup after themselves. Trying to get Valoa here to assist with the clean up was not an easy task either. Now, this crew no longer works for Valoa and the new guys are FANTASTIC! I would hope this is not an issue in the future for anyone. During install, the crew broke a firepit that was in my yard by dumping dirt inside of it. This was acknowledged by the install manager but it took months for me to get reimbursement. After many unreturned texts, phone calls and emails to the owner (after talking with managers with no success), I had to walk into the storefront and talk to the owner about reimbursements I was waiting for and couldn't get any response. I was in the store for an hour with some communication with the owner and lots of him ignoring me before I had to insert myself to find the answer to the issue. Ultimately, I got reimbursed for what was promised but it took way to long and a lot of effort on my part to get what was promised. (again, after later discussion with the owner, he owned the mistake and states that this is a one-off problem that should not happen with a future customer). Now that I have solar, I LOVE IT! I am happy with the end result but I am not happy with how my complaints were dealt with by the owner and install manager. New staff was hired on during the middle of all this and they were very helpful to finish me up. Had the new guys done the entire project, this probably would have been a 5 star review because they would not have left a mess and/or damaged my things. Would I use them again if I needed solar? I think so. I still believe going local is much better than a nationwide company. I believe a local company care much more about the customer and customer satisfaction. The owner has owned his mistakes and promises that the future will not look like this for other customers. The install crew does a great job and seems to take ownership and pride, catching mistakes that the original install crew missed (and fixing them). Their new manager is very responsive (Jamie) and helpful through the rest of the process that he had to work with me on.
.Received a quick response from Alex. Seems like an error which no need comment on. Everything was taken care of. As I said before no problem with the installation and the system works perfectly. But wait I was praising Alex and he has turned out to be just as bad as Eric. These people are either scammers or they’re broke. Don’t deal with them. Take it from someone that has.been left with a bad taste in their mouth .They have lost a lot of business from me. I have four other buildings that I was going to get solar from them Very disappointing
