Camping World RV Sales

I spoke with a representative by phone who confirmed that they could help me with 20–25% down. I made it very clear during the call that I do not have a driver’s license, and I was told that would not be an issue. I drove two hours with cash in hand, ready to make a purchase, only to be told upon arrival that they could not help me after all. The story completely changed once I got there. The manager seemed uninterested in assisting me or finding a solution. It’s very disappointing, especially after being upfront about my situation from the beginning. This company was misleading and wasted my time. I would not recommend doing business with them or any of their locations.

Made an appointment to just come in and look as we wanted to consider the option of buying one in the near future. When we showed up for our appointment, the sales woman that was to help us was very nice and friendly in the beginning. When she found out we were just wanting to get some information and look at different models as we were wanting to buy one in the next couple of months, her attitude changed, and she became very short and rude. She reluctantly took us outside to show us some models and only spent a very short time on each one. She was slamming doors and hardly talking to us and did not give us a lot of information about anything. She was slamming the doors and just seemed like we were a burden to her. We asked to see a couple of the preowned ones and she said that she didn’t really want to show them to us because we were not in the market to buy one right now. but then she showed us one that was really worn and not even detailed. We left there feeling like we did not want to go back. We went to another dealership and we treated night and day differently.

Not very impressed with delivery service-bought 5th wheel on line from Lubbock Camping World- last week-unbelievable bad delivery service-picked up camper last Thursday-service tech was in a hurry and ran thru everything on trailer in less than 10 minutes-service tech assured me he would empty holding tanks-DIDNT HAPPEN Had to get them out in yard after papers signed because steps wouldn’t latch after all hooked up BEGORE I LEFT THEIR YARD!!! THEN No key provided to access fresh water tank-tech just left it unlocked like I wouldn’t figure it out once I got home and had time to look trailer over. Shoddy delivery service on $30000 trailer-spend your money elsewhere, wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here with this group -find someone else to spend your money with

One of the worst dealership experiences I have ever had. I spent $80k on a new fifth wheel. I was told I could move my stuff from the trailer I was trading in to the new trailer after I sign the papers. I signed the papers, then they threatened to lock both of my trailers inside their fence because they were closing. They made me basically sprint While moving my stuff. When I finally had it loaded up, some idiot bent the hell out of the screen door on the new trailer and the door would barely shut. Two weeks later the roof started leaking. Two weeks after that, both awning quit working. I called them at least 15 times to fix it. They never addressed it even though they said they would. The finance guy tricked me into a $12k warranty when he said the extra expense would only increase my monthly payment by $1. Doesn’t even make sense. It took them 2 months to cancel the warranty and 7 more phone calls. I felt absolutely used and abused. I hate this place.

Camping World is hit or miss. We were 400 miles from home and headed farther when the gizmo that holds our residential style refrigerator closed broke. We backtracked to CW of Lubbock. The parts guy there shrugged and told my husband they could order the part…in 2-3 days…he didn’t suggest anything to help us out. Just turned away and went about his business. Completely uninterested. Pretty typical of our experiences with Camping Worlds.

I had such a pleasant experience purchasing my first travel trailer with Camping world. Parker Campbell was such a professional and helped out every step of the way. The original trailer I wanted had been sold, but he was able to find me something just as comfortable, and affordable. Walker and Stivens from the finance department helped out so much and explained as much as possible to help me make my decision easier. Thank you again to the staff for making this experience an easy experience.
