After seeing all the negative reviews I tried to give them an opportunity to prove me otherwise, different. Unfortunately I would not recommend this business for many reasons, for starts, receiving a paid-for item in the store that was given to me without that actual item in the box. I didn't expect that to happen ♂️. Check for your items before you leave. Don't get fooled by their lower upfront cost and gift card option when available, go with the big name stores instead, like L__ or H___D____ (you'll be glad you did). There's a first time for everything, including my first-time negative review online. Don't waste your time and money. Y'all had a chance... Northern Tools, Madison (No good!!!) >couldn't leave zero stars unfortunately
Ordered 2 fans within the sale time frame. The next day I get an email stating the fans are no longer available. We all know the fans will be restocked just not onsale. How about fulfilling or orders and not have false advertising. On sales if your not going sale them at that price. I understand if it takes 2 weeks to restock. But just canceling my order is B.S.
Tried to return an item I purchased. I was well within all return policies with receipt and the item in perfect brand new condition. I told the clerk I used it once to see if it worked but it didn't for my purposes. Was told by the manager that I could not return it because it was used. There's no mention of this on their return policy anywhere. She said because it's used it's no longer saleable. Eventually I was offered a store credit. During the return process the clerk was instructed to mark the item saleable I'll go to home Depot next time thanks EDIT: general manager and district manager resolved the issue.
Bought a $1200 pressure washer and almost 2 months later motor works but the water doesn't build pressure. They said no returns or exchanges under any circumstances. The reviews are true.
Nicki, who works at your Nashville location is a rock star. She enthusiastically helped me out of a jam. She waited on the phone with me to make sure the issue was resolved. In today's job market great employees are difficult to find. Keep her NTC if you lose her your store will take a big hit on excellent customer service, and professionalism. If there were more than 5 stars I would gladly give it.
heyyy fellas, i just wanted to share a ''wow'' from your Madison, Tennessee store yesterday. I needed a new leaf blower. My trusty Husqvarna 125B was not trustworthy anymore. I had a job to do and needed a leaf blower. Asap...i went to your Madison, TN. store on-line shop and noticed they had several quality Stihl BG-50's in stock. I called and spoke to a girl and asked her if she could verify the item was in stock...put me on hold for a minute...she said they had plenty. I told her I would be there in 30 minutes unless someone wrecks on the freeway [it happens all the time because, you know, people don't pay attention while driving], Just my luck...a small fender bender. Not me..I still made it to her store in 30 minutes...close to quitting time. I walked in... looked around. Then i heard ''are you here to pick up a BG50?'' ''yes I am.'' Either I had a neon sign on my forehead that said I need a Stihl BG50 OR she has ESP. she went back into the stock room....and to my surprise, she filled the gas tank with premixed 50:1 gas, pulled the rope twice, she fired it up...ran it for a minute or so, then shut it off and handed it to me..she said ''here ya go. It works." Not only was i surprised that a girl started a leaf blower [this is something that you rarely see] on the second pull......it was explained tome that Stihl products are tested this way before they are sold..what an awesome idea..
Northern Tire was a tremendous help. We're on an 1100-mile trip and needed trailer tires, ughh They had some our size and also helped get them on. We checked four of your bigger suppliers with no luck and started to stress. Never thought about Northern Tools. They gave us such great service and had everything we needed, plus some. I highly recommend this place. Robert in the warehouse came through with exceptional service.
