Got big help from Mark who helped me find wood board and bricks to build my first bookshelf! Really appreciate it. Would definitely recommend!
Outstanding Service from Erick! Erick is always exceptional! He not only helped us find the right product but also took the time to explain alternatives and recommend the best option for our needs. His product knowledge is impressive, and his friendly, professional attitude makes every visit a great experience. This isn’t my first time being helped by Erick—I’ve seen him more than three times, and he consistently provides the same excellent level of service. We are more than happy and truly appreciate his dedication and kindness!
I was immediately impressed at how extensive their in-store inventory was for almost every section from lighting, plumbing, appliances, hardware, power tools, electrical, tiles, carpet, and wood products. They also have so many in-house services for customizing products which I found to be a real selling point. I was surprised how many indoor/outdoor security devices they had including products by Ring, Google, and Blink. The staff are extremely proactive in making sure you find everything you need. They even went out of their way to say to keep pets away from the south wall because of the pesticides - which was greatly appreciated. This is a great location to complete any project and to walk your pet.
Today Monday September 15 . I went to this store. I wanted to buy a few vinyls floor for my sink in my classroom. Unfortunately the stores seller told me I can't buy just a few . I have to get the box. So I find manager and asked him. He was the most kindest and amazing person. When I explained him why I just need a few of them and I'm a teacher. He gave me a one of the box with missing tiles for free. He said because you are a teacher and I know many teachers bought their own supplies from their own pocket. There is no any help through the school. I didn't know how thanks him. I wish the best for him. I forgot to look his name. But who ever manager today in that store at homedepot in Verona. Thank you . Rented one of their box trucks which was a better deal than uhaul to pickup a few furniture items and drive to janesville and back. They charge by the hour and not the miles like uhaul does. The kid who checked me out was nice, but the manager or whoever had to come and take the other kid who was working so the person checking me out had to answer the phone. Im paying by the hour, so waiting for your employee to talk on the phone mid transaction is not nice. The guy I returned the truck to was not so friendly and took their time checking me out due to another customer when I returned the truck. You need to work on that. Time is money. I would consider renting a vehicle again... maybe from menards. I dont appreciate being nickled and dimed because you can't get an extra hand at the tool rental counter. I more than paid their wages for the truck. Also, no gun safes on site? Come on, this is wisconsin. Venison is life here.
I ordered a grill where the delivery date was Saturday. Then I called the next day to see if it could be changed to Wednesday. They said yes and also said it would come preassembled. I can only take a handful of work from home days a year so I took one in order to be home when the grill arrived. I call them at around 2 in the afternoon because I still haven't gotten word about the delivery. I call the first time and wait around 15 minutes to get to customer service. Not terrible but he says he needs to transfer me to his manager. But after I'm transferred the call eventually hangs up on itself because no one was around to answer the phone supposedly. I call again a little later and I finally get on the line with someone only for them to tell me the delivery date is still Saturday. Not to mention that when I was in the store originally looking for a grill not one employee could give a meaningful difference between the different brands. Someone actually said "well different brands are just different brands." The amount of incompetence to deal with at this store can take years off your life. Unbelievable.
Just drove up from Texas. Some contracting jobs. Had to go to tool rental a fuel times to get everything done and thank goodness for the crew working there. Special shout out to Chase. He was extremely helpful and I likely would not have been able to get my jobs done without him.
