I got a pretty high end pc from an online retailer that was delivered with some problems that I couldn't sort out myself, so I brought it into MGG for some help. Within 1 business day (with their priority service upgrade) I had my rig back, in even better condition than it was built in, and finally running smoothly! Everyone was super cool and helpful, and I'm excited to talk to these folks about building my next pc when the time comes. Thanks again!

I've worked with them twice to diagnose and repair issues with my tower that were intermittent and difficult for me to reproduce for them. Both times they've managed to isolate what was going on, let me know, and resolve the issue. For the parts based issue, they were fair in pricing and labor. For the other issue that was tough to track down, they identified that cleaning connections resolved the issues without trying to sell me on new parts or major rework. I'd go back in a heartbeat

reasonable price efficient timely in repairs open communication lines and best of all i got my laptop fixed way better than buying a new one highly recommend

Had a special request question that didn't necessarily require service, and Tony (if I remember correctly) was eager to help me solve the problem. It turned out I simply needed to adjust my technique with a particular piece of hardware. I offered to pay for the valuable information I was given during our 3 minute discussion but he just said throw us a review 🙂 The atmosphere and was cozy and inviting plus the gentleman I spoke with came across as really down to earth and genuinely interested in helping me SOLVE the problem, not just sell me service. Very impressed 10/10

I built a computer from parts and ended up with a hardware issue. I took it into the shop and they diagnosed the faulty part, and were open to communicating with me throughout the process. Ultimately I decided to retrieve the computer and install a replacement motherboard myself. They were understanding and had the computer put together and ready to pick up between the time I made the call to when I showed up at the shop twenty minutes later.

Super impressed with these guys. The repair rates are reasonable and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I brought my rig in to repair the liquid cooling fan. Mike analyzed my machine and besides replacing the cooling system also suggested additional improvements to make the rig faster. My rig has never run as good as it does now. I will always use Madison Geeks Group for all my computer repairs in future. Mike, you rock!

I would avoid this place if I were you. I was estimated $190 and was charged $389 without a call to notify me of the price change. Additionally, they were very slow. I gave them the laptop on 3/13 and got a call it was done on 4/9 (27 days total). I am a software dev and have built my own computers for years. I went in to get a charging port replaced on a laptop. This is not a complicated order, but it does involve soldering so I needed someone to with a solder gun to do this. The final price was 205% more than the quoted price. There was no notification of this increase. I choose this place for the good reviews, but after working with them I am baffled how they got those reviews. I would avoid this place if I were you.
