U-Haul Moving & Storage of West McKinney

I had a great experience at this U-Haul location! The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the whole process. The truck was clean, well-maintained, and ready to go right when I arrived. The check-in and return process was fast and easy, which made moving a lot less stressful. I really appreciated how the team took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I had what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location for any future moves and highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable service!

Amazing experience! I hadn't rented a U-Haul in almost 10 years and their brand has definitely improved significantly since then. The employees were all very helpful and really cared about their job and me as a customer. That's rare these days! Thanks for everything.

I’ve had two large units here on autopay for over three years. I missed one payment after switching off my card, the payment comes out and just four days later, I come in at 6:30 AM —and there’s an additional lock on my unit still. I’m trying to get to my tools so I can make it to a job, but I’m locked out. There’s a guy here walking around the truck who tells me, "I’m not at a computer right now, I don’t have any keys, and I have to move all these trucks before opening. Someone else can help you when they get here." This is the type of laziness I can’t tolerate—people who lie straight to your face just to avoid doing their job. I know damn well there’s a master key for those locks. To top it off, both my units are infested with rats. I’ve found droppings, chewed-up bottles, and even rat remains. Time to move my things out

Kimber was great and speedy service. I was charged for insurance when I originally declined it, but Kimber and Adam were quick to make it right. I appreciate the help and excellent customer service! I highly recommend this location and have always been taken care of. Thank you for your team loading and unloading our trailer. I appreciate your attention to details.

Santiago and the team was outstanding ❗️The service and kindness at this location awesome. The one In Prosper where Ibrahim is is awful. He didn't open his mouth to say nuthin' I will not spend my hard earned money where I'm not welcomed.

I always go to the U-Haul McKinney on University Avenue to refill my propane tanks. It’s about a 30 minute drive from my house but it’s worth it versus doing the exchange. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and they refused to fill my Propanetanks so one hour round-trip drive Spent three dollars of gas in my truck and they would not provide a service that they said is available and that they have And that I could come back tomorrow. Now that’s good customer service 🙁

I'm here as I type for a hitch install appointment. It was estimated to be a 45 minute job. I've been waiting 3 hours. Enough said. They did at least give me 10% off, although I had to ask.
