Always a great place to shop. They offer the best variety in food, produce, clothes, home and kitchen essentials, and many more. Their bakery, meat, dairy and frozen offerings was very good. Pricing is reasonable. Customer service is excellent. Curb side check in is an added benefit

I thought this was worth mentioning. On September 16th, 2025, at around 1:00 p.m., I visited the BJ’s Wholesale Club at 5820 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. During my visit, I unintentionally interrupted a large young man who works in the Deli department by the name of Chris, while his back was turned—he was already assisting another customer who wasn't nearby at the time. Without hesitation, he politely said, "Just one moment and I’ll be right with you," and continued completing the lady’s order with care and professionalism. Once finished, Chris turned his full attention to me and prepared five different deli meats and a half pound of horseradish cheese. Throughout the process, he was courteous, efficient, and incredibly respectful. His demeanor reflected genuine customer service excellence. Chris is clearly a valued team member at BJ’s, and his professionalism deserves recognition. Employees like him make everyday shopping experiences feel personal and appreciated. Thank you, Chris—and thank you BJ’s for hiring such a standout employee.

I absolutely love shopping at BJ’s Wholesale Club! The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with everything I need — from groceries and household essentials to electronics and seasonal items. Went in this location just to pick up a gallon of milk after purchasing gas at the pump. Of course I had about 4 things in my arms because I didn’t think I would need a cart. After I paid for my purchases, Janice the Customer service person working the checkout lines saw me trying to figure out how to carry my purchases, she told me to hold on a minute. She returned with a cart for my purchases. This was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Kind of service which makes you want to return to a location.

Stopped by today to have a tire repaired. Greeted by a wonderful associate, Travis. Fortunately he was able to help me after he finished with another customer. It was just a few minutes. Travis and his co-worker Darnell repaired my tire in a flash! Travis completed the transaction and Darnell pulled my car to the door. He told me he had corrected the tire pressure in all of my tires and my tire monitor would update after driving! This is excellent customer service and much appreciated

This is a very large, well kept BJ’s Club store. The selection of products available is excellent plus they have an in-store bakery and deli. Very clean, helpful staff, relatively fast checkout on a weekday afternoon when we visited. Plenty of parking, including accessible parking. The BJ’s gas station is in a separate lot at the side of the store with its own entrance and exit.

Nice and decent place to do your shopping. Did not give it a five because I had a bad experience with the AT&T vendors. Buyer beware, because they make promises they can't keep and got left paying for my Tmobile bill.
