Super friendly, good pricing, and actually care about their customers! I went to Ace Hardware and Home Depot first and couldn’t find anyone to help me. As soon as I walked in the door here, folks were offering to help me. 10/10 would recommend!

I purchased hedge clippers and a rake and they bother broke within 3 days. Went to return it with receipt and the very rude employee told me they were "too used" (I bought them Thursday they broke by Saturday. BOTH ITEMS) They proceeded to take my broken tools and fix them and give them back to me. I asked for a refund and they straight up ignored it. I will never return to this hokey excuse for a hardware store. Never returning. Hadn’t planned on it anyways

Cashier needs more training and answering phones I'm very surprised because she sounds like she's an older person that has been working there for a long time very knowledgeable about the store the kindness is not her strongest point. I talked to the manager about it and he only proved me right employees are only as good as their management.

The Convenient location has almost everything you need. You don’t have to go to the big stores like Walmart or target with the long line. I was in and out in under 7 minutes. The young lady greeted me once I walked in. They had everything on my list, and everyone that helped was charming.

I really tried hard to like this place being it was locally owned supposedly. But the lady behind the counter, can’t keep her political and racist views to herself every time I’ve been in there… so I decided to give Westlake my business

You only get one chance to make a first impression. My first impression was a large display of dead and dying potted plants followed immediately by an elderly lady flying out the door and yelling about shooting paintballs at someone’s car as they drove by. No I’m not kidding. Apparently that’s ok because this lady told me she works there. She then invited me to see her labradoodle that was roaming around the store. After locating what I was looking for, a small purchase, I was informed that unless I had cash they didn’t accept debit cards for a purchase under $3. I get it, credit card processing fees are ridiculously high these days. But what happened was they lost me as a customer. I’m all about quirky charm of places but between the dead plants for sale, the cranky employee (probably the owners wife) and placing value of a credit card transaction over developing a customer they lost my business. I will never be back. Believe me on that. Ace isn’t that far away and I’ve never had a bad or uncomfortable experience there and I suggest you shop there too.

I really wish the rest of America still operated like this place. Helpful, friendly, and fair priced. Do yourself a favor and stop in here sometime.
