If I could rate lower than one star I would. They try to be slick and think that the customers won’t find out about our missing items. I had items missing when I went to go pick up my belongings and then when he proceeded to put it down he drop it so hard on the ground. I had my cat ashes in a locket in there. I see I’m not the only that went thru this. You should let the owners go get their own belongings it’s not like they’re going to steal the vehicle. The guy that brought our stuff was rude. I want the rest of my belongings back!!!
They claim to treat people’s property with respect, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. All of my belongings were carelessly thrown into boxes—including the collar of my deceased dog, which is irreplaceable and deeply personal. That’s not respect, that’s blatant disrespect. As for my car, I’m currently waiting to get it back so I can assess the damage. It was dragged over 50 feet—and it’s a front-wheel-drive vehicle. Their employee actually tried to tell me that wouldn’t cause any damage. Seriously? Anyone with basic mechanical knowledge knows dragging a front-wheel-drive car like that can absolutely harm the tires and axle. You better believe I’m having the tires and the front axle fully inspected—and not one thing is getting touched until photos are taken, right there on the lot. Refused to let me see my car or let me take photos before I left.
stole items from my vehicle that were in the trunk and almost $500 worth of property was taken from me and when i went to retrieve it when we asked about it we were told that everything that wasn’t bolted down was returned when it was not. police report will absolutely be filed for my missing belongings. we even had stuff in our boxes that wasn't ours in the first place like lottery tickets and trash. absolutely ridiculous that they think they can get away with this.
If I could give negative stars I would. I understand the purpose of their business but I took care of redemption in less than 48hours. I was required to obtain my vehicle at the Haslet location. As the office staff was friendly, they did not give me or email me copies of anything signed. Upon receiving my vehicle back it had basically been ransacked. Money & change down the the last penny missing, car smelled of weed and cigarette smoke neither of which I do. Prior to this situation my vehicle was clean and smelt like a new car. Several lights are on my dash and will need to now incur additional costs for a deep clean/deodorizing & any costs associated with repairs. This was handled in less than 48 hours and I am in beyond shock how this company handled this situation. Beware if you are subject to them and expect for theft to happen as well as anything else horrible to happen. Shame on them as a business that they conduct themselves this way.
Worked with Brandi and another young woman at the front in the Hutchins location. Both of them were extremely kind and helpful in making sure I had everything I needed and even going above and beyond to locate something that was missing from my vehicle. One of the guys from the back even gave my car a jump when the battery died. This is not a process I'd wish on anyone but they certainly made it easier.
I would give 0 stars if I could! These people are so difficult to deal with. They are extremely rude and uncooperative along with the fact they don't answer their phones. When you have to send them back to your vehicle 4 times to get your things something sketchy is going on. They brought a big box of our belongings out and when we sent them back telling them to check again that things were missing they got irritated because there was more and they brought handfuls of things they " forgot". I had to send them back a few more times for missing items that should have just been in the box in the first place and they brought more handfulls out. We had to ask them why there was a HUGE box in the backseat they "forgot". They tried to refuse to give us our pike pass back, stating they didn't have authorization even though they did and it was confirmed they did. Honestly I wouldn't put it past them to have left more of our belongings the vehicle.
Kristen wrote we are all liars and nothing gets stolen out of vehicles and we should all pay the car payments. This is my first repossession, and this repossession was due because they did not get my payment on time. I called the finance company and they stated they did not get my payment. I told them my payments on the way I have a good payment history. The finance company also stated, they would apply the check when it came in for my December payment. and they would put the finance charge on the back end.Sometimes it’s not always The fault of the people paying for the car. sometimes it could be the bank or the mail. And yes people do steal stuff out of vehicles at a tow yard. My wife had wrecked her car and it was sent by the tow truck tow yard until the insurance company could look at the vehicle and they stoles about a $200 camera. but the camera was important it would’ve been nice if they would’ve left the photos, That was in the camera I went and talk to the lady and she made a report the insurance company did pay for the camera but the photos are lost forever, And one of those photos was priceless because it was a relative who passed away.I have never missed a payment. But because of the Coronavirus the finance companies need money even if it wasn’t your fault. I bet if it happened to her she would be really mad. You do have honest people in this world not all people are thieves. I will do an update on my star,And my experience on a later date
