AutoZone ripped me off. I was oversold on a $300 battery which didn't even last 6 months. I returned it the first time with no problem. When I went to return the next one, as it had a 3 year warranty. I was told when I returned the last battery they refunded me cash. This means an employee of AutoZone put this information in their system even though I exchanged the battery, which I still have. Where do you think the money went. Not in my pocket. This is called embezzling funds. The store manager would not correct the issue. I was told to call the corporate office. Extremely difficult to get a hold of, and when I did speak to someone they gave me a number to call which no one responds to. No one at this company is accountable for their actions. I went to file a complaint with the better business bureau and they don't even qualify as a company of integrity because they don't respond to complaints. Boycott AutoZone. If you do shop there don't be surprised if you get oversold and then inevitably ripped off. If you have to return the item and find out an employee has already put in their system it was returned for cash. When you make a purchase on a card any returns are generally returned to the card. No funds were ever returned to my card. Obvious embezzlement. Be careful!
I brought my battery back for replacement and the young lady that was working with me did a really great job but the manager that was on duty you should have stayed out on the front of the floor. Just hit the back of your office because while I was there doing my battery exchange which probably took about 10 or 15 minutes. Several of the front desk employees that were running the cash registers had to leave the cash register. Go find the boss and have him come out and punch in his code. Seriously. Stand on the floor and take care of business
THOMAS IS SIMPLY THE MAN!! 5 STARS FOR THOMAS!! The other gentleman that was on shift (7/19/2025 7:00PM) I can’t say the same about 0 STARS IF I COULD. I believe he was the manager and he was so short, which can be confused for being rude, given I had an issue with my order! I put an online order and received my email saying it was ready. Upon arrival I was given my order missing the most important piece. When addressed, the other gentleman (I didn't even care to ask for his name) gave me the worst energy. Thomas quickly came to the savior noticing my patience shortening. He asked what the issue was and then proceeded to get me taken care of. The product I was missing was out of stock and the only alternative was the step up which was $16 extra dollars. I have 3 kids and count my pennies, so I couldn’t afford to do it. The other guy told me "tuff luck" versus Thomas, who asked me what my budget was and made it right. If there should be someone in charge of this location it should be THOMAS!! Thank you for being the definition of customer service!! Unlike your partner… he has to be addressed.
The guy behind the counter did the job I asked him to do, and the price options were good. However, he looked like he'd rather be pulling out his fingernails and helping a customer. No smile, no enthusiasm, and really just looked bored and agitated.
I need a transmission fluid and coolant and the gentleman seems like he did not know what I was talking about. He just pointed to a wall and left it up to me to find what I needed. I had to call a friend to describe what I needed.
Miguel at this location was great. He helped me identify the problem with my car, found a replacement and helped me with the replacement as well. Great service, very helpful, and friendly. Thank you, Miguel.
Chuck helped me replace my battery in the heat after I was stuck waiting for a jump. These guys are the BEST and very very helpful. I appreciate you very much and this is my go to location every time now.
