For working families, renters, and seniors on fixed incomes, this flat fee is essentially a regressive charge—applied regardless of actual energy use—that erodes household budgets and discourages energy conservation. With San Diegans already paying some of the steepest electricity rates in California, an extra $288 per year in unavoidable costs could force many residents to cut back on essentials like food, transportation, or healthcare, deepening economic inequality in a city where affordability is already a pressing crisis.

hoarding electricity from their customers even when they know the power was turned off in the first place due to administrative issues out of their control. No humanity in this company at all and these people are the appitomie of why everyone is so sick and tired of SDGE nothing but bad reviews due to a horribly coordinated team.

MyEnergyCenter app sucks, we pay too much and they buy solar for a tiny amount. The support staff is kind by misleading. I get different information every time I call. SDGE on its own makes San Diego a worse place to live.

This guy came to our street at 9 PM and started posting signs for no parking from 5 AM through 5 PM tomorrow morning. Every car that is parked on the street or receive a ticket or get towed. By ordinance they need 24 through 48 hours to notify the public. I have video

At 11:20am today, Abel was extremely rude. Raising his tone, condescending tone. I told him I was putting a complaint. Not on me, I have a lot of patience. But I can’t imagine him treating an older customer this way. Call was September 23rd, at 11:05am-11:25am. ABEL was his name.

If I can give a negative star I would. Sdge is absolutely garbage. San diego needs a new electric company who DOESNT have power outages every damn week. Its tiring especially on the days its 90 degrees and they take in no consideration of it. Like fix your power stuff in winter time why do you guys fix it in the middle of summer. Like isnt there a fire hazard regulations rule that keeps them from messing with the power during hot summer. Or do it at night when it cools down. I dont know man, all i know is "youreeeee FIREDDDDDDDD" -cat in the hat boss voice

Delivery service charge, base service charge, everything charge. I pay more in whatever charge than I use. If possible find an alternative cause these guys will find a way to increase your bill every quarter.
