American Solar Corporation

I am on the national Do Not Call registry and I am getting continuous robo calls from "Greg" with American Solar. I have not requested information from them, I do not own the home they are soliciting for and continuing to call me over and over from various numbers is a TCPA violation. I don't care if you use a VOIP or if you have someone from out of the country making these calls, being an American company based in the USA means that you're required to comply with the FTC Do Not Call registry. The fact that you are not in compliance means that every time you call from a new number or text me from a new number, I WILL be making a report. I've read other reviews and your excuses for why this is happening do not validate it. Claiming that you never have or never will do any outbound calling/telemarketing is irrelevant since YOUR company is the one that the calls are representing. I block one number and immediately get called from another number. You and the FTC can argue it out. Enjoy the fines. Don't bother asking me to remove the review until you make the calls stop. It's your company, if you aren't creating the calls, figure out who is and take the necessary steps to get this resolved. Until then, this review stands. Even in your responses of people in my situation, you STILL try to solicit business, absolutely shameful.

I get AT LEAST 3 to 5 calls per day, some times as early as 5:00 am from solicitors for "American Solar". I see that I am not alone with this complaint and the "company" response is exactly the same every time...it's not us. Well company owner(2), you need to do something like contacting the FTC, FBI, etc to have action taken...this is not helping you company (if) you are even a real company!!!

I keep receiving overseas solicitation calls from this company. It doesn’t matter who I talk to or what I get upgraded to as far as a supervisor. I’ve been asking them to stop for over seven calls. Nothing is working. Today I got a call at 6:39 AM! If this is a true company get a grip on this. Thanks

I've got at least one call a day from this company for months. Don't do business with them. I've asked to be taken off their call list to no avail.

I did not use their service, however, I received a robo call going by their name and went to their website/reviews because initially I thought they were the ones who were employing robo call tactics. I easily found on their website that this is not the company that is doing this, they even have an email address in their contact us section you can send information to to report it. I appreciate this being something that was easy to find and wish their company the best in light of what I imagine is something unexpected and hard to deal with for them.

Revising my one-star review in response to the owner's reply to my original comment. Anyone that attentive is clearly paying attention and deserves a fair shake. And as someone who recent invested in solar on my own home in the PNW (not in the Bay area, sorry!) I can confidently say that it's well worth the investment in both the environment and your wallet. Utilities are always going to go up, but the cost of your panels won't!

Honest, fair priced, family owned solar company with experienced techinicans and reliable service personnel. American Solar is based in Marin County, less than 15 miles away from San Francisco, CA. They donate panels to non-profit agencies which you don't see often in this industry. Remarkable work! Call them for an estimate.
