We had an amazing experience working with Clean Energy Innovators. From start to finish, the process was smooth, transparent, and truly owner-led. Randy personally took the time to walk us through every step, making sure we understood our options for solar and home backup battery solutions. Randy was fantastic to work with — he communicates clearly, is very detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about making things as convenient as possible for us. He made sure every part of the solar + battery setup was explained in simple terms and tailored to our needs. His attention to detail and commitment to providing a seamless experience gave us complete confidence in choosing Clean Energy Innovators for our solar project.

We had a 12kWh battery, 11.44kW solar array, and EV charger system installed by Clean Energy Innovators. Each communication, from our first interactions where I called while comparing solar installers through our most recent emails and phone calls have been exemplary. Each employee we worked with was a consummate professional. Randy, Susan, Jared, Connie, and Brandon are each delightful people. We feel as though we have extended family members with this crew. At no point was there ever an attempt to oversell, and everything went exactly as was explained throughout our installation. The quality of work this hard working team produced may be evident from a couple of the photos I attached. Both the array on the roof and all the work in the garage are super clean. It was obvious that this team takes pride in their skills, with attention paid to the smallest details. I chatted with inspectors who reviewed the installation, and they mentioned to me how meticulous and tidy all of the work was. I've enjoyed showing the system to family, friends, and neighbors, and all remark on what a nice looking final product we have. Not only does it look nice - it is producing great power. In only the last 5 days of the most recent power billing cycle where the array was energized, we produced nearly the entire month's home power usage. Those 5 days of energy production reduced our power bill by 80%. Fantastic. We'll be earning credits during these long summer days to help when the shorter days of late fall and winter arrive. We only have great things to say about our experience with Clean Energy Innovators. An amazing team.

Randy and his company did a solar expansion and Generac battery storage system installation for me. They did a great job, so much so that I had them come back to expand the battery system. I especially appreciate Randy as the owner going out of his way to communicate and make sure everything is perfect.

Clean Energy Innovators installed a 14.4 Kw residential solar system (no batteries) at our home in Woodinville in June 2024. Being a technical person, i had done good amount of research for going solar, and have got quotes from 11 different popular/familiar solar installing companies in the area. During my research i stumbled upon Clean Energy Innovators. Gave Randy Sprout (their COO) a call and Randy stopped by the next working day. From the very initial conversations with Randy, we were convinced that he runs a reputed/trusted small business and we wanted to get a quote. Randy's quote beat all the 11 other quotes we have gotten from any other solar companies operating in the area. The panels (also bi-facial) & inverters in Randy's quote were top notch unlike a few other companies' quotes. We can say for sure that Clean Energy innovators offer one of the most competitive prices for solar in the region. We decided to go with Clean energy Innovators for a 14.4 Kw system . Randy & his engineers navigated through all the permits required (city/building, electrical, Power company) and in a few weeks, installers installed the system in 2.5 days (wed-fri). Installers and the process/experience were top notch. We have young kids at home (summer !) and none of us never had any issues due to the installers. Randy was providing updates every day (and sometimes multiple times a day) before/during install on the progress. We had to leave on an international trip few days after install. Randy & team went thru all inspections in our absence and before we came back, all our inspections were done & approved and the power company came and turned ON our system to start production. Their lead electrician (Jared) is super nice & easy to work with. He registered our email and went thru all the app details and how to read/interpret production numbers and status of the solar system. Randy also provided drone pictures and videos , both before & after install. (Love those high res pics & videos 🙂 ) Overall - we are extremely happy with the system and its performance so far. Highly recommend Clean Energy innovators ! We will definitely go with them again for more solar projects and/or batteries. Few things to highlight - 1) Clean Energy Innovators offer extremely competitive/compelling pricing for solar in the area 2) Clean Energy Innovators are a small business where you get to interact with COO/founder on your projects 3) Absolutely zero pressure (not once we were forced to signup/make a decision to go with them) 4) Engineers & installers from Clean Energy Innovators are highly professional/reliable 5) Excellent planning and execution in their projects, with regular updates on progress

In fall of 2023 I hired the team at Clean Energy Innovators (CEI) to install a 25.6 kw solar system on my house on Bainbridge Island, WA. Summary: CEI had exceptional communication and service before, during and after installation. The work was very professionally done and after install, they provided great support making sure the system is fully operational. Their pricing was better than any other installer that quoted my project. The system is performing exactly as CEI told us it would as far as the amount of power it is producing. We are extremely pleased with CEI and the system they installed. We would absolutely recommend CEI to anyone looking to go solar. Quoting and specifying the system: I got 4 quotes from 4 solar installers in the Seattle area. I ended up choosing CEI because of their pricing and responsiveness to my questions about what system would fit my needs. They explained all of my options for panels, inverters, and storage. They quoted a few different system sizes, inverters types and storage options. My goal for the project was to cover 100% of my electricity usage. CEI specified that the 25.6 kW system would get me to that goal where other solar installers specified larger systems (28kw up to 32kw). This made CEI's system less expensive than other installers. They also had the lowest $/kW install cost of any of the 4 quotes I got. System selection: We chose a 25.6 kW system using 400W Hyundai bi-facial panels and Enphase microinverters. I did not install any battery storage, but we did install the Enphase Sunlight Solar backup system. So when our power goes out and the system is producing we can use that power for essential loads in the house. System install: The CEI team communicated very clearly how the installation was going to go. All the panels and other materials arrived on time a few days prior to installation. The team (electrician and rooftop panel installers) showed up on-time every day and were very kind and respectful. The installation took about 10 days and their team was kind and pleasant to have around. The aesthetics of the installation are excellent. They asked me questions along the way about my preferences of how I wanted things to look along the way. All wiring was routed through the attic so there’s no exterior wire runs on the roof. I’m very happy with how the installation turned out and how it looks on the house. System commissioning: Once the power company connected the system, the CEI electrician came out to turn on the system and check that it was working properly. He found a few issues – not unexpected with a project of this size and complexity. At all times CEI was very proactive and responsive to these issues. During this whole process CEI guaranteed me they would get the system functioning perfectly – and in the end they did. Long-term system operation and performance: The system has been running for about 8 months now. Over the course of this time CEI has been monitoring the system closely. When issues have come up (it’s always been connectivity issues with the Enphase cloud system) CEI has identified it before I have and has worked with Enphase support to resolve the issues. I have not had any issues with the installed hardware (the panels or inverters). I’ve also had no issues with roof leaks. The only way to know if the system was sized correctly to cover ~100% of our usage is to see how much is produced over the course of a year. I’ve not yet completed an entire year’s cycle – but so far so good. After 7 months of production, the system has produced 92% of what the CEI solar model predicted, which I am very happy with. We are also very happy with the Enphase sunlight backup system. We’ve had a handful of daytime power outages this year, and we don’t even notice. I’m very pleased we saved some money not installing batteries, but we’re still able to utilize solar during a power outage. I couldn’t be happier with the job Clean Energy Innovators has done. 5 stars!
