West Coast Self-Storage Columbia City

The staff and storage facilities are amazing and can't recommend storing with West Coast in Columbia City! I've stored with them for a couple of years and only have great things to say! Nicolas was extremely helpful and kind! Big thanks to him, Amy, Greg, and the rest of the team for making it a great, low-stress experience to store my things! The parking lot, halls, and storage units are very clean. It looks like they must clean the halls pretty frequently. The indoor parking lot for loading and unloading feels very secure with a code to get into the building as well as the elevator. There are well-maintained carts for bringing things to and from the storage units. The elevators operate smoothly and quickly. Thank you again Nicolas, Amy, Greg, and the rest of the team at West Coast Self-Storage in Columbia City!

As someone who's worked with over 10 different storage facilities, this is definitely one of the best storage places around! I absolutely love how the parking is facility parking is gated; I feel a lot safer unloading and loading my belongings into my car. The ladies that work here are awesome! Megan has, bar none, the best customer service! What a rockstar! She's patient with all the customers and you can tell she really cares about her customers and the community. Megan made my business here very pleasant and was very accommodating. They also have Uhauls you can rent directly from their lot! Extremely convenient and a life saver for me!

I've used several storage facilities over the years during moves, and this has been the best. Parking and access to the facility itself from the street can be tight for larger vehicles and trucks. However, the facility itself is clean, and the loading area is gated, well lit, and there are a lot of security cameras around even if you don't see them. What really made the experience great though was the staff. Amy went above and beyond in helping me out multiple times, and did so in a friendly, personable way. During a period of high stress in my life (moving out of state), she came to my rescue a few times and made the storage/loading portion of my move much less stressful than it could have been.

**update** already spoke to amy and requested my money back for the month that the rat infestation started. She told very rudely "that's not how storage places work." OK so they work by failing to have a pest free location. I have pictures. Rat problem at this location!! Who knows for how long. They dont notify you immediately. They do not care about customers. Requested my money back for the month that i was told of the rodent and was told no. Advise others to steel clear.

I rented a unit for 2 years in the Columbia City facility and dealt with Amy, both in person and over the phone. She has always been terrifically helpful, pleasant and kind. The units are sized as advertised, the facility is clean and secure. Everything works just as it should!

Gregory was so incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. He truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend this facility. I am very grateful for my experience here.

Great customer service, clean facility with lots of moving aids including UHaul, boxes, moving carts to use on-site and friendly staff.
