Taylor's Do it Center

I wanted to get a Father’s Day Gift and wasn’t sure what to get as for a Grill. Taylor’s Do it Center Associate by name of Grace went above and beyond to breakdown from price and durability. She highly recommended a Green Egg since her and her husband use it a lot for smoking their meat. She sold me on purchasing one and didn’t regret making my father’s happy on getting one of a kind Green Egg. I thank her and her friendliness to make it happen for me!

This is a very good, well-stocked hardware store with knowledgeable staff who are right there. Sometimes you just need someone who knows hardware and the stock that is available then. Big box stores have a place but sometimes they just don't fill the bill.

Went in today to get some keys cut and pick up a few random things and ended up having the best interaction with Les. His expertise, customer service and conversation were top notch! Would highly recommend visiting this location just for him!

I am writing this in the parking lot of Taylor’s Do It Center off of Laskin after my first ever visit. I called regarding some hard to find bolts and nuts for my big green egg and they said to come in and they could help me out. I was immediately helped and the associate took care of me better than any big box store ever could have. I regret not getting her name. She needs a raise. Even though I live a literal minute away from a big box store compared to the 15 minutes it takes to get here, I will ensure to take my business here in the future. Thank you for leading by example.

The guy was very nice that worked there. The plants outside were almost all dead. I had questions, but nobody outside to help. The prices are at least 20% higher than other hardware places.

I have been a customer of this store for a little over a decade. They are way more expensive than Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, and other local Stihl dealers. I choose to shop here to support local businesses. I went in there this morning to buy some carb cleaner for my Stihl chainsaw, which I purchased there. It's an awesome morning. Low 70s in August. I rode my bike there, hydro back back in tow. When I walk into the store. The cashier asked if I could leave my backpack up front. I am a 50-year-old man, not a teenager. I politely told her, Yes, I mind, and walked out of the store. I called the manager when I got home. I told her what happened. It's early, she sounds indifferent, it is what it is, they are paid for what we get. It was not until I asked her if they ask for ladies' handbags when they come into the store. The manager stated that they ask ladies for their handbags before being allowed to shop. I would not post this review if she did not blatantly lie to me, such a laughable lie that I could not contain myself. Imagine the reaction ladies would have if they were asked to hand over their wallets, phones, makeup, and feminine products to a stranger while they go shopping. I can not fix stupid, but I recognize it very well. You lost my business today because of two ladies who were too stupid to recognize their own ignorance!!!
