Rented electric scooters from E-MILE: The Electric Ride for a family day at the National Mall, and it was such a great experience. The scooters were in excellent condition, and helmets were provided for everyone. Even with kids under 16, the staff made sure we understood all the safety guidelines before heading out. The ride was smooth, fun, and a perfect way to tour the sights without getting tired. Highly recommend for families or friends visiting DC!

I was so relieved to find this shop while looking for electric bike repair in Washington DC. My HiBoy EX6 had a brake issue and the techs here were fantastic — they explained everything clearly, fixed it quickly, and even checked the battery connection for me. The shop is clean, organized, and the staff genuinely care about keeping your bike in top shape. Great experience from start to finish!

Unauthorized Work Done Without My Consent. I took my scooter here for a rear tire repair, quoted at $140 + tax — which I agreed to and paid. When I returned, I saw that the front tire had been taken off and altered without my permission. I was told it was a "courtesy pressure check," but I was never called or asked. The front tire was in perfect shape when I dropped it off. Now, it performs differently, and the staff had no valid reason but being a courtesy to check the tires, but I wasn't informed of the courtesy either. To make matters worse, I was not given any apology but instead got kicked out of their shop, which I calmly walked out. I hope you have a camera in your shop because you will need the evidence in court. Let's hope I'm wrong. This kind of unauthorized work violates DC consumer protection law. I’ll be filing formal complaints with the DC Attorney General’s Office, Department of Licensing & Consumer Protection, and BBB. Avoid this place unless you want surprise work done without your knowledge or approval. The photos here doesn't show that there's a problem with the front tire of the scooter but the pressure isn't the same.

We had another fantastic experience with E Mile Electric Scooters during our recent visit to Washington, D.C. This was our second time renting from them, and once again, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The scooters were in great condition and perfect for exploring the city over our four-day rental. A special shoutout to Kai, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our trip memorable. We highly recommend E Mile The electric ride for anyone visiting D.C.!

Such a lifesaver! I needed a wheelchair for the National Mall, and they offered same day service without any hassle. The staff was friendly, and the wheelchair was comfortable and clean. Definitely will use again next time I’m in town!

We had a fabulous time in the seated electric scooters… a group of 8 with a tour guide who was exceptionally patient and knowledgeable. We would thoroughly recommend hire these and going to the Whitehouse. Thank you for honestly one of my favourite days !!

On April 14, 2025 I dropped off my RoadRunner RS5 Pro to have several things fixed and put together such as my handle bar and I had them fix my brakes and fill in a few missing screws. Initially I thought this was a professional repair shop considering it seems to be one of the only ones in the area. I was quoted around $500 and I was okay with it assuming they’d do a good job. Here’s where I thought wrong. I then wait until April 28th to pick up my scooter which is an acceptable amount of time if they actually did a good job. I go and pay and once I go outside to test it and inspect was where everything went wrong. I first notice they changed my brake handles which was fine I don’t mind but they gave me mismatching brake handles and one of them without a brake sensor. The mismatched brake handle looked used and has a big chip on the handle. I then notice I have to pump my brakes about 2-3 times which definitely isn’t normal and shows they did the brake bleed incorrectly. This immediately concerned me and I went back to the shop after a few minutes and told them the issue. They then try to assure me that it’s normal and it’s definitely not. I then inspect it more and notice one of the screws they used on my throttle was a regular industrial screw they use for wood which now broke my throttle a week later. I genuinely thought they’d surprise me in a good way but they definitely failed to do so. Also to mention I left them a new set of handle bar grips and they didn’t even put my handle bar grips on and weren’t going to till I told them. Now at this point my brakes are progressively getting was worse in a matter of weeks I have to now pump my brakes 6 times which makes my scooter once again inoperable. I can admit that the scooter wasn’t in the best condition when bringing it in as everything was a mess on it and they somewhat but poorly put everything together. For a high price of almost $600 you’d think you get exceptional service but end up with everything furthest from good. Won’t be returning for sure
