The equipment is great. I’m not so impressed with the installation. The crew left my property in bit of a mess and I still haven’t been told how to access the app. The install was done quickly, but it took them a while to obtain the permits after they were ready at the City. I have had this system previously so I know it will work great once it’s completely up and running.

I would highly advise looking elsewhere for your solar needs. I have been working with Blue Raven since November of last year and have encountered one issue after another. The only part of the process that ran somewhat smoothly was the initial sales part. After we decided on a price, it was decided they needed to "upgrade my main electrical panel" and increased my quote to cover this. When it finally came time to install, they found a workaround and did not upgrade the panel. I have been asking them to remove the panel upgrade charges for months (since it didn’t happen) and am met with crickets. I seem to be the only party involved that wants to get this resolved so that they actually get paid. This is only a snippet of the issues I’ve had throughout the process. I used Blue Raven years ago and was very pleased with my first experience, so I was actually a returning customer. I can assure you I won’t return for a third time in the future.

Blue Raven Solar has to be the worst company I have ever interacted with. I would give 0 stars if I could and I will tell everyone to BEWARE. Blue Raven was the original installer of the solar panels before we purchased the house and when one of the modules became faulty in October 2024, we assumed it was a good idea to reach out to the original installers. An entire year later and probably $1500 spent, we are still dealing with a broken module and partly installed critter guard. Their team is horrible at communication to the point that I had to add them as a phone contact because I was calling them so often for any update because they would never update me on anything, even when promised over and over again. After they said they would repair our faulty panel, the work was delayed over and over again, until one day I came home to a panel sitting in my backyard and no explanation. I had to call for a week to get any update on when the new one would be installed. After that was finally complete, we purchased critter guard in February because all the wiring issues were caused by squirrels. They then arrived with the wrong size (twice!) and canceled work orders over and over again and over such a long period of time that the squirrels chewed through another module and scratched up roof shingles. They charged us $350 just to move the panel so we can fix the shingles but canceled the contractor the day before they were supposed to arrive and then I had to call repeatedly over a month to get any ETA. I finally requested a refund in early September because we were DONE working with them and all of sudden they tried to schedule a contractor on a Friday at 5pm to arrive Monday morning so I couldn’t reach anyone to cancel the contractor. I called multiple times to confirm and check on the refund, and they sent another contractor to our house! A month later and I still have no ETA on the refund- I’m having to dispute it with my bank at this point. They did install the critter guard on one side of the house but did it so poorly that now the squirrels are nesting in the critter guard. When I requested a refund for not completing the critter guard installation, it’s the same story. Then when I requested that they fix the poor job they did with what they did install, they said that we would have to pay for it! Do not ever hire this company. They are a complete dumpster fire.

Blue Raven is a great solar company to work with. They are very professional, quick and affordable. Their design team worked with me to perfect the layout of the panels on the roof. Sales was very helpful a explained everything clearly with multiple financing options available. The installation team was great! They had the whole system finished in one day. Very nice group of guys were all very respectful of our home and did a great job. Nothing but positive through the whole experience. Thanks to the whole team.

My experience with Blue Raven has been excellent so far. I have just got my solar generation system installed at the end of July. They helped me through the entire process of preparing and submitting the required documents. I did not have the burden of figuring out things on my own. The installation crew was very professional and courteous. They finished the job on time with minimal interruption so even when we were getting solar installed, it was not very disruptive. After the installation, I reached out to them for the final steps and they worked with Enphase to get my system set up properly. I'm still waiting for the first month of solar generation before I can start experiencing the benefits to my utilities bill but, so far it has been great.

From the start to finish everything with Blue Raven Solar went better than expected. From my sales rep Charlie to my installers the whole experience was just a smooth glide! The reason I decided to stick with this company was the customer services and the same experience was not at all pushy or demanding, as well as the best price out there. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work. I am a 100 satisfied customer. Update here, I now have to change my review. The reason being is because I now know that while the customer services is top notch at the begining of the experience, it totally changes after isntall. I went from a very satisfied customer to a disatisfied one. Reason 1.- The fine needs to be and has to be properly explained to avoid further disatisfaction. Furthermore,I was told I would not have a payment for 90 days (WRONG), as well as that Blue Raven was going to credit me for a year worth of monthly payments and did not explained to me that this was changing after when we decided to do the roof as well under the same contract. 3.- after install I realized that my app consumption data was not being reflected, I called enphase and they said I needed an additional consumption meter(not informed of at the begining prior install) and contact Blue Raven for it they charged me $349 for install and $137 for Materials (this being the meter which in the enphase web is $49) subsecuantally, Ive taken 2 days from work only to not have it installed--at least the 1st time the tech showed. the 2nd it didnt. So I am sorry for changing my review but I am sure you dont feel bad about not committing 100%

Like others have said, Blue Raven Solar was fine to work with—until the panels were installed. After that, you’re on your own. Here’s a summary of my experience: • I tried twice to meet with Benjamin Turley about adding a battery. He no-showed both times. • My panels haven’t been functioning for months. Getting someone to diagnose the problem took endless back-and-forth. • I finally reached Thomas Stewart (Work Orders Specialist). After paying $349 upfront (I was told this would cover both diagnosis and repair), I got an appointment. • The tech, James, was great. He diagnosed the issue (faulty RMS), worked with Enphase to order a replacement under warranty, and assured me that installation would be no extra cost. • Ten days later the replacement arrived. I called, emailed, and texted Thomas to have someone come install—no response. • Another 10 days later, I suddenly received a vague invoice from Mason Draper (RMA Specialist) demanding $449 for a site visit—contradicting everything I was told. I emailed back for clarification. Again, no response. • When I called, the woman on the phone brushed me off, claiming all supervisors were "in a meeting" and saying it could take five days for a callback. Then the call disconnected. No one ever followed up. This company is happy to take thousands of dollars up front, then leave homeowners stranded with broken panels, ignored messages, and surprise invoices. Employees don’t return calls, voicemails, texts, or emails. RUN far away from Blue Raven Solar.
