Drug Emporium Shreveport

So first of all I want to say Im not from Shreveport Im from Houston Tx. Im from where we are very concerned with our health and what we put in our bodies. Second I wannt to say the racism is real in this city. Being that I'm not from here I came to this store with my backpack on because it was recommended to me. Upon my entry is was stereo typed because of my backpack. I was yelled at and followed around the store. At first I was not going to purchase anything but I found some things I have not been able to find since I been here. I went back to spend more money with this company and they had a no backpack sign on the door. People stop putting everyone on a box. I will not be visiting again. This experience just proves my point to stick with black owned businesses.

Well I thought this place was great. Got some cologne there the other day one for sure is fake. The other one must be old because all the paint and plastic is peeling off the bottle inside the box. If you’re selling fakes, that’s fine but let people know… unless you don’t know. I wouldn’t buy any cologne there unless you can certify it’s real and when it was purchased

The first three things I noticed when I walked into this inviting store were the cleanliness and order, the beautiful fragrance that filled the space, and the peaceful atmosphere. The scent was so lovely, I found myself wondering the whole time what it was. Even though some of the grocery and household items were familiar, the way everything was arranged made it feel like I was seeing them for the first time. The shelves were neat, thoughtfully stocked, and there were also so many unique items I haven’t seen in other stores — which definitely makes me want to come back and explore more. And then, I met the staff — so kind and welcoming. It truly felt like I had found a hidden gem. This was my first visit, but it won’t be my last. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others!

Amazing selection of fragrances but it’s always super busy with people who want to smell things and get samples and there’s only one person on the entire area so it’s frustrating when you know what you want and get passed by … biggest fragrance collection in town. All of the comments about possible racist actions are false. I’ve been there so many times and they have always been super kind and patient with everyone… To the owner, the issue might be with the person making the review rather than the staff. I would however love to see more than one person there because every time I’ve been, there are more than 2-3 people around the counter… id love to see some Louis Vuitton fragrances! Drug Emporium is really a one stop shop! They have an excellent selection of natural foods, supplements, wellness items, and even perfume and cologne at a very reasonable price. The staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. We love shopping here!

One of my favorite places around, I love vitamin plus for all the healthy stuff at good prices. Drug emporium is just a brat store and the employees are all usually very friendly and helpful.

Was great. The employee who check me out was very nice and polite. She was very friendly. I did not get her name but I do remember what she was wearing a stripe top and light blue jeans. Cash register#1
