Haas & Sons Electric - Electricians

We had a fantastic experience working with Haas & Sons. We needed to have several different electrical improvements made, including changing light fixtures, installing a fan, installing new lighting in one room and changing some outlets and switches. Our electricians were great to work with, listened to our questions and proposed work, and made helpful suggestions which helped us to make the final decisions about what work to prioritize. The work was completed over a few different trips and we are very pleased with the results. One of the electricians (Nicholas) was especially helpful in determining the right approach for rerouting the venting for our bathroom exhaust fan. I would highly recommend Haas & Sons, and they'll be my first call when I have electrical needs in the future.

We had a set of basement lights that didn't turn on. After calling to make the appointment, we got emails and text messages confirming the appointment and notification on who the electrician was and his picture. Electrician Mike arrived at appointed time and we prepared a pack of lights and small stepladder for him. We explained the situation and he went about investigating the issue with the wiring. He was very good at explaining the wiring issues and what needed to be replaced and what did not. He was able to clearly explain what would be preventative measures without being a salesman about it. Our dimmer switches around the house were old incandescent versions and he replaced several of them with LED normal switches to get rid of the flickering of the lights. He was also able to rewire two switches that were not turning the lights on and off properly. We also had him replace several outlets that were loose and vacuum cords would pop out. He was very efficient and fast in doing those as well. He was able to bring our sump pump and laundry outlets up to code by switching them to GFCI versions. Electrician Mike was friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us all the billing estimates before any work started (he finished the work on the same day he came to inspect the issue) and we didn't pay him until we inspected all the finished work. He was very clean and I only found one loose screw as I was vacuuming the debris after he left.

Nick was on time, friendly, and did a great job explaining what he was looking for. When at first he couldnt figure it out, he said so. Then he had the sense, and the technology, to look at our electric panel using heat sensors. He quickly identified the problem and the solution from there. While the fix was more expensive than I had hoped, he did a good job explaining why it was necessary. I would eagerly welcome him back for my next electric issue.

Nick is extremely professional, efficient, organized, skilled, considerate and knowledgeable. He kept me informed of progress, impact on the various tasks and the daily plan. Nick was so efficient I felt bad having such a mess for him to have to spend so much time on to fix. I enjoyed working with him and his team Josh, and Blaine..they were all great and extremely helpful. I'm grateful for this teams hard work.

7/25/2025: Installation Michael Wendler,  from Haas & Sons Electric Inc., was, again, timely, professional,  knowledgeable and an expert installer. Mike mounted 2 ea. Panasonic WhisperFit® DC Fans in less than two hours, even with cathedral ceilings. These fans are quite larger than my 30-year-old fans were, so he had to cut into the ceiling drywall and install a new bracket between joists and renew the electrical connections. The final product was not only fully functional but also aesthetically beautiful (see photo). Last, but not least, Mike left the bathroom clean of debris. He is a true professional and, for sure, my new electrician. I would be remiss if I did not mention the excellent support that Krista provided. She was instrumental in making this project go smoothly from the get-go. From scheduling the visits to installation and invoicing. She was kind, effective and efficient, and was good at follow-through, which is difficult to find these days. In conclusion, I am a very satisfied customer. I would confidently recommend Hass & Sons Electric to anyone. 7/15/2025: Estimate Michael Wendler,  from Haas & Sons Electric Inc., was timely, professional, respectful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He performed an inspection for an estimate for the replacement of bathroom fans, and I am choosing him for the job! Well done.

Replaced 9 old smoke detectors, inspected electrical panel and recommended a few upgrades to bring the house up to current codes enacted since the house was built about 20 years ago. The electrician, Blaine, was quick and efficient, friendly. He gave me several options with prices up front. I’m very happy with the worth, and very relieved to finally have new smoke and CO detectors that meet state requirements!

We received excellent service from Nicholas and team for the installation of our home EV charger and surge protector. Their explanations were clear and straightforward and we are happy with the installation. Their friendliness and professionalism were also much appreciated. Thank you!
