I want to extend a huge thank you to the team at Family Electric LLC. They were fantastic—clear and thorough in explaining the issue. After reaching out to three other companies, they stood out as the best-priced and most professional. Unlike some of the others, who were surprisingly condescending, Family Electric was courteous and respectful throughout. I’d absolutely use their services again because that’s exactly what you want in an electrician—knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. I’ve found a company I can trust, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

Family Electric performed all wiring and component installation during a recent addition and remodeling at our home. From the quote, inspections, and work completion the employees were all prompt, professional, and courteous. They even returned several months later when I had questions to insure we were satisfied with the work! Excellent customer service! Great to see an organization that is building culture to support it’s reputation.

The worst company I ever dealt with. 1. They left out ceiling fan from estimate and demanded extra for it on the project day so I bit the bullet and agreed to pay for it. 2. They changed the plan where the trench will be dug because the worker noticed how thick the wall was. Because of this, they bursted water pipe and Molly, the office worker told me I wouldn't be charged for it but then changed her word later on and demanded that I pay half of the plumber cost. I argued back and she threatened to report me and put a lien on my house. 3. I told the estimator where the water line is and that the house is 200 yrs old and probably not built up to nowadays code. But they kept saying that it is my responsibility that the water pipe broke. I mean, even if I didn't tell them, it doesn't take an expert to tell how old the house is and the water pipe is visible??? 4. Molly, the office worker can't do math and put higher amount on my first invoice. Do not trust her to bill you correct amount. 5. After bursting the pipe, they covered the area upon rough in inspection to hide it from the inspector saying it was for my convenience walking the dog, etc 6. The plumber they hired didn't fix the leak properly and was still leaking the next day. Their worker noticed it and they sent the plumber back out without letting me know to my vacant property. 7. No apologies at all after all this mess but the owner decided to tell me to 'knock it off' because I was getting upset at this ridiculous conduct. 8. Molly, the office worker couldn't even bother to tell me what time the workers were coming so I took my day off expecting them to be here in the early morning. They showed up around noon. My husband could have met them if I knew that earlier. I lost my earning for no other reason other than her laziness. Again, no apologies. 9. The ruptured water pipe caused my hot water heater to break because it was full of mud. I had to spend another $1400 to get it replaced. Record every conversation if you must hire this company. Rather, avoid this cluster of inadequate people.

I saw their truck at Home Depot and took a photo of their contact info. I called today and a nice woman took my info and requests. It happened that the crew was around my house so I agreed to have them start working as soon as they arrived in about 2 hours. The employees did a great job, including installation of a new electric plug for the toilet seat bidet. We will hire them again for part 2 of our project. Chris is the highlight! He's very professional, went over the work times several times to insure we didn't miss anything, excellent organization skills. Thank you

We had Mark and Balal out on 5/22/2024 to install ceiling fan (including running new electrical and switch) and 2 exterior outlets and troubleshoot a ring camera circuit. They did a great job, were polite and very professional. They identified a simplification to our plan that allowed us to add an additional outlet and significantly reduced the amount of drywall impacted. Afterward, they cleaned up everything almost like they were never there. We had a hiccup with the ceiling fan remote so they came back out, found the issue and even fixed a manufacturer's poor internal connection. We would not hesitate to reach out for them next time we need electrical help.

Our contractor used Family Electric for the electrical work on our screen porch Feb 2020. The electricians were professional and spot on with their work. So when I needed electrical work done again, I reached out to Sarah, Office Manager. She was quick to get an estimator out and their quote was 1/2 the price of another electrician we used in the past. She worked with our schedule and the electrician Mark G. was on time, professional and again did a great job with our work. Highly recommend these folks!!!

We have used Family Electric on several occasions. They are prompt, polite, professionals. Their work is exceptional. They clean up behind themselves really well. Their office personnel are a pleasure to deal with. We will continue to use them and highly recommend them.
