Modern Electric did a terrific job installing a chandelier in my home with an 18 foot ceiling. Matt, Craig, and Jack were professional, efficient, and careful throughout the entire process. The chandelier looks absolutely fantastic! They completed the installation quickly and with great attention to detail. I highly recommend modern Electric for any of your electrical needs.

The job was to replace and modernize the service panel. Matt the owner is very professional and a good and prompt communicator. His techs were professional and courteous, doing a great job for the most part and Matt went behind to tie up loose ends. They did leave a little bit of a mess behind (and so did Dominion) but I'm happy to run the shop vac if you can keep the cost down. Speaking of cost, the difference between M.E. and one of his competitors is that the cost to replace the service cable and weather head was factored out of his quote. In other words, the other company was going to make me pay for work that Dominion did at their own expense. To the tune of $800. Even if Dominion decided not to do that part of the work, Matt's quote came in under by $800. So thanks for saving me $1600.

Jack and Craig did a great job installing recessed lights and other stuff in my house. They were very nice and they cleaned up after the work very well. Scheduling and communication with Matt was smooth.

Modern Electrical did an excellent job with the full electric install of my shed. Matt & crew were professional, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the process. The estimate was fair, and the work itself was clean and efficient. Definitely recommend checking them out for any residential electrical jobs.

Matt installed under cabinet LED lights in my kitchen and a hanging lantern porch light. All work done was Excellent. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend Modern Elecrical to anyone.

I couldn’t recommend the team at Modern Electrical enough. Matt was great with communicating throughout the process and provided a quick estimate on the services. I needed a 14-50 outlet installed in my garage to charge an EV, the Techs Craig and Dustin showed up exactly when scheduled. They walked me through the process of the work and were finished before i knew it. Great team, i am very pleased and will definitely be using them for any future electrical work.

Tremendous service that is sadly missing in our world. I call Matt to schedule a fan installation on Friday at 1:57 p.m. Matt returns my call 24 minutes later sets my appointment for upcoming Monday at 8 a.m. Follows back up with a text message on Sunday as a reminder. Two technicians were ringing my doorbell at exactly 8 a.m. and we’re back out the door 25 minutes later with the fan perfectly installed. I am totally WOWED!!! Thank you Matt and Modern Electrical.
