Our experience with Matt Bristow,, the owner of Summit Electric, was outstanding! Matt was recommended by several neighbors to install our portable generator 50 Amp inlet receptacle and transfer switch. He contacted us within an hour after reaching out to him. Communication by text throughout the entire process was easy, fast and consistent. We were able to set up a walk through with him at our house within a few days of our initial contact. He arrived on time, inspected our panel, and provided us with a detailed, professionally written bid that afternoon. It is clear when you speak with Matt that he is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it showed from the beginning to the end of every phase of the project. He is easy to talk to and always made sure that my husband and I both understood what and why he was doing each aspect of our project. After discussion with Matt about the decades old age and condition of our 125 Amp panel, we decided to upgrade to a new 200 Amp panel. He provided us with a revised, detailed written estimate for the new project. The bid was incredibly fair and didn't change after the initial estimate. I want to mention that it was entirely our decision to upgrade the panel. Matt didn't pressure us at all, he explained that due to the constraints of the dated old panel (it wasn't able to handle the new interlock switch kit due to a fire safety hazard) it would be prudent and safer for us to upgrade the panel and we agreed. Matt purchased all supplies necessary for the project as well as obtained and managed the permit and inspection process from beginning to end. His work is meticulous! He even used a label maker to identify each breaker on our panel. He kept the work area immaculate throughout the day and cleaned up the work space every night. He arrived on time every morning. Matt is extremely nice and easy-going and was very patient with any questions we had about the electrical installation process and even helped us choose our portable generator and accessories. I recommend Matt Bristow and Summit Electric without hesitation, he is an honest, hard-working professional who you can count on for safe, code-compliant, excellent quality electrical work.

I asked Matt to do several electrical jobs including three new electrical plugs, installing garage lights with switch and running a 240 line from the house to where the hot tub will go.
