Cummins Sales and Service

Other RV places wanted us to make an appointment weeks/months in advance and keep our RV a minimum of 2 weeks or longer. We contacted Cummins Anchorage on Monday afternoon about doing fluid/filter changes and investigating a problem with the alternator. They had an opening and asked us bring it in right away. The next day they determined our alternator was putting out zero and needed to be replaced. They ordered a replacement, along with the specialty air filter, and our rig was ready early Thursday afternoon. We are so pleased with their speed and quality of work! They are also very friendly. Extra kudos for giving us a military veteran discount!

When I called in to schedule an appointment to get my RV generator worked on (it was having trouble starting), the service tech offered to walk me through a few potential fixes while on the phone and at no cost. It turned out to be a stuck fan and I was able to get it working without needing to bring it in. I am super grateful for such a good experience!

I honestly don't think I've ever been treated as good as I have been treated by the staff of Cummins such as Matt front office and for Zach the great mechanic who got my water truck up and running fore I can get back to work. There work is awesome! There attitude is great. I'd recommend anybody and everybody with big Riggs to use them, they're outstanding.

if i'm honest the phone call was very strange, it appeared to be a call center. And when I asked to verify if my filters were ready I was told Yeah Sure. And i'm not upset or mad just wasn't feeling very confident or sure my order was placed. I was told to hold on when I was waiting patiently, and i was continuously told just a moment, while I was already patiently waiting. And when I asked if the order was placed for all 3 filters I was told Yeah sure. And it made it sort of feel like a scam.

Delivered my truck in May 2023. Its now 7/20/23 - I have called 5 times and left a voice mail 4 times and not once has someone called me back to updated me on my truck. It would be great to even get an email to say pick it up, we are too swamped, we dont want to do the work, or anything. So I will drive over and visit.

In and out, part was a lot cheaper than expected. Good customer service and even a follow up phone call. They surprisingly had our part in stock, and we were able to take the RV camping that weekend.

Took our motorhome in for engine and generator service. Change oil,filters,check belts, tires, etc. $900+. Generator had ran fine all summer, they called said generator fuel pump bad. Was mistrustful of that diagnosis, so said we would pick up motorhome after service complete. Generator now blows black smoke, lots, and wont stay running! Tire pressure never done, 4 out of 6 tires still low. Less than 10,000 miles on these tires, so seems they did not even check pressures. Taking it to a new mechanic Monday, so will see what is wrong with generator and go from there. I suppose it's possible the generator could at that very moment broken, but had worked fine all this season and last season. No excuse for tire pressure not being done. Will revise this review if new mechanic comes up with same verdict. Disappointed, to say the least.
