I recently purchased a mower with less than 3 hours on it and it was defective. I replaced the battery and still nothing. I took it to get repaired by these guys and they held my mower for 4 weeks stating "we’re waiting for a part to come in." In the end I grew tired of waiting and decided to go check out the mower in which they stated "it needs an engine." I said that’s fine it’s covered under warranty because the machine is new it has 3 hours on it. They stated it most likely isnt covered in which I decided to just go pick it up and deal with it. I took it home and started messing around with it and managed to get it running by using my jump box in which I found out the relay was defective. A $20 part that takes 5 minutes to replace and these guys said I needed an engine. Never do business with these guys. I have video and picture evidence of all of this.

These guys really helped me out. I wanted a mower for my sloped garden and over 2 visits they talked me through my options. I settled on the Toro and it was priced the same as in big box stores. Getting it into my trunk was too hard so one of the guys brought it to my home. They have repair and stand by their sales. Local places like this are the best!

Since Clays Power Equipment took over this business in Cary, I have had nothing but 5 star excellent service. Their staff is tremendously knowledgeable and very very kind. Today I stopped by to pick up a Stihl trimmer and blower that had needed regular maintenance. They were both completed quickly and are running better than ever.. Today was very special. Without knowing it, I left my phone on the counter... I was not aware that I had left the phone and when I got home there was a knock on my door... One of their fine staff had taken his own personal time after they closed to deliver my phone to me at home... Now that is 10 star service. I highly recommend this company... Jon Gordon

Pleasantly surprised to see Clay’s has taken over the Cary Mower location. They are highly recommended by professional landscapers and private home owners. When I took in a hand held blower I was trying to save, they gave me an honest opinion and showed me hand held and back pack options,which I returned and purchased. They took the time with each customer present.on the day I was there, an older lady was picking up a repaired blower and did not rush her through the process, but took time to answer her questions even though she was probably not the operator of the blower she was picking up. Salesman answered all questions asked prior to making our purchase. I always feel I can call and ask questions if necessary.

Took both my chain saw and backpack blower to Clay’s this year and both were repaired quickly and correctly. The service is efficient and friendly. Certainly a credit to Cary and the town should support this facility
