I had a very poor experience with Larry Diamond Outdoors in Fayetteville NC. I dropped off a Husqvarna Chainsaw for warranty work in the 2nd week of August. When I dropped it off, the young lady at the counter told me it would be 2-3 before they would be able to do any work on it due to high work volume. 6 weeks later I still hadn't heard anything, so I called their store for an update. Magically, it was done and they "forgot" to call me. They informed me that the repairs were NOT covered by warranty and I would have to pay the repair costs out of pocket. After contacting Husqvarna, they assured me they had NO contact with Diamond Outdoors and did not deny my warranty request. Their warranty claims department recommended I take the saw to a different repair shop for a 2nd opinion. But because Diamond Outdoors had already completed the repair, they insisted I pay the repair costs before I could take my saw home and told me they would sell it to cover costs if I didn't pay. Larry was extremely pushy when I told him Husqvarna told me to take the saw to a different shop. After 3 days of back/forth they finally returned the chainsaw to its original condition and gave it back to me. So now 7 weeks later, chainsaw is still broken, and I have to start over again with a different shop. I would not trust Diamond Outdoors to work on my equipment; They will fake a denied warranty claim and hold your tools for ransom if you dont pay their labor fees. Stay away.

This place is HORRIBLE!! TOOK my mower and Echo weedeater there. Was told it would be about 2 to 3 weeks. I called in week 2, they had not even looked at it. Following week, still nothing. Finally was told the Echo would need a carburetor. $160, equipment cost and repair..wow! At this point they've had everything for about a month. Mower had not been looked at. I told them I would come and pick up everything. Here's the joke. They where going to charge me $75 diagnostic fee for the Mower. I said for what? You goes never looked at it, I told you guys everything that I needed done to it. Looking down at the tires and telling me they were dry root, was considered diagnosing. That really came out of her mouth. I told her that I told them I needed tires. She said if I didnt want to pay it, I would have to talk to the owner and he was not in. How convenient. I think she realized how silly she sounded, went to the back and came out and said she would waive the fee. They lost my key to the Mower. Told me I never left'em, how'd you start it? Was told they use any key. This place will never ever get my business...

My lawnmower deck belt was keeping off. Took it to Diamond Outdoor for repairs. They kept it for 3 weeks and Michelle ( claim one of the owners) told me that it needed a belt keeper. When it was delivered, as I started the belt came off right away again. They picked it up and worked on it then charged me again for the same thing (had 30 days warranty) They told me if I don’t pay they will not deliver it. This place changed me for air filter (I took pictures to show her) didn’t replace and refused to refund my money. Also, charged me for shop supplies and disposal which were not applied for my lawnmower, refused to refund me. When I called for the charges I disagreed while I was on the phone with Michelle, it got disconnected, I believe she hang up on me. So, I went there, Michelle wasn’t there. I asked Jessica other owner’s name she said I don’t need to know and she said "If you don’t get out of here, I’ll call the police". I was very polite just wanted my money back. Michelle showed up and I showed her the picture of the air filter not replace and above deceptive charges that I don’t agree with. She refused to refund any of my money and she said that we just changed those fees everyone every time we work on any machines. Worst customer service and woks.

Very poor customer service. Unethical billing practices overcharging for services. I took my equipment, under warranty, for repairs. They told me that it will be ready withing 2 weeks. It took more than 8 weeks while I was calling every other day pass 2 weeks deadline. They would tell me that someone will get back to me before the end of the day but no one ever called. They told me that they were waiting for a part. Finally, after 7 weeks, they told me that it was ready to pick up. Upon arriving to the shop, I was told that the issue with the equipment was non-warranty related and I have to pay $80. They told me that they had to clean the carburetor. When I looked at the bill, it had items listed such as "old parts disposed fee" and "chemical disposed fee". Upon complaining, I was told that they are allowed to charge those fees. A total rip off with a bad attitude and behavior.

I had to get warranty work done in my mower. The staff was very friendly. I was called that my mower was ready. I went to get it. The nice lady brought it around front for me. I was handed the proper paperwork and it the door I go to load it. As I was driving it on the trailer I noticed something off. When I got off of it. I saw the rear tires were flat. I mean you really could not put air in them and double check the mower. That's why the two stars.

GREAT service today from Larry and his wife. I came in there looking for a ride on mower for our newly purchased home with acreage. He helped me find the right one at an amazing price. His team did a thorough check on the mower before loading it up for me and he answered all my novice questions with expert knowledge. Can’t recommend them enough!
