We hired Hurricane Home Solutions to install a whole house generator (natural gas) for our home. They were fairly priced, professional, and the final product looks great. We haven't yet had any outages to exercise it end-to-end, but the generator appears to work as expected during the routine self-tests.

Tyler and Henry were the best. Went above and beyond to make this install all I hoped it would be. Tyler even contacted the office to request a change to the transfer switch from two to one since I had two separate services which not only saved me money but also more appealing to the eye, Henry moved a couple of rocks that were in the way and up in the hot attic. Thanks guys!

From the very start when we salesman came to our house and sat down and explain to us everything. He went over the different generators their warranties explained how things would work. We took around walk around the outside of the house and on the inside of where the panel box is. My wife researched the three top generators and we ended up picking the champion. Then, on the day of installation, the two men that came down were very good very courteous. I show them where the unit was going to be placed and where all the lines had to be run through and everything. They were very good very respectful. They did their job very well. Asked me to inspect everything that they did even though I didn’t understand a lot of it. My wife and I are very pleased with the installation and how everything looks. Hopefully we won’t have to use the unit, but we have the confidence now to know that we won’t be in the dark again. Thank you Hurricane company from the very top to the very little guy. They all did a great job and were very happy even with the price. The tech that came and installed the Wi-Fi so that we would know what our generator was doing if it had problems or not was very knowledgeable and very good. My wife and I are very happy with everybody. We’ve dealt with from the very beginning and hope that it will continue a great relationship.

The three men who came to my house were very professional in their manner, answered all of my questions and took The time to make sure that I understood the operation of my generator they cleaned Up up as they worked, so there was no mess around my house and took time to thoroughly explain the operation and how my generator works. The electrician's name was David. The gas man was Austin and I don't remember their helpers name, but I would highly recommend all three of these gentlemen to install Generators at my friends and family.

Venturing into a new endeavor such as buying a full house generator, is typically out of most folks wheelhouse. In turn, it can create confusion & doubt on how to make the best decision in a fairly crowded space with a lot of noise. Hurricane HS was very transparent, thorough, & made this experience better than expected.

Very displeased with this company. They showed up wrong day. Started taking pictures of my home (without asking, parked in my driveway). They never came to my door to ask for my permission to be on my property. When I called the company to complain, the associate told me the person in charge would call me back. Well that was yesterday (7/14/2025) to address the situation, and as of this post (7/15/2025 @ 11:30am) no call back. Very poor customer service. Buyer be aware!!

Very satisfied with this company. From Lonnie (sales), John (road repair), persons on phone calls and all the workers that set up and helped us. We had the system installed and 2 hrs later a storm hit. The system started up but no electricity in the house. Within hours someone was here, got it running and it ran perfectly for 5 days. Can’t say enough about emergency response. Thank you.
