Genesis Heating and Air Conditioning

I always try to support local businesses and I truly found a gem! Our AC was failing for about a year and then during the heat of this summer, our furnace blower motor fried. Genesis technicians came out and confirmed our biggest fear, after 20+ years of a known furnace that had a major recall (which I verified), we were in the market for an entirely new HVAC system. They were gracious enough to install a temporary blower fan while knowingly getting multiple bids for the scope of work. We received multiple bids from independent contractors, smaller companies and even from very large-name companies (you see the commercials) in the Twin Cities. In the end, I would choose Genesis above anyone else! Aside from the competitive bid we received, their customer service, support and ability to share product knowledge is superior. From start to finish, I felt that they understood our needs, didn't oversell products and gained my confidence to select them. When they arrived, they were courteous, professional and treated our home with respect. Throughout the course of the day, they checked in with me about various decisions, such as placement of our bigger AC condenser unit. I had a dying shrub that they even removed and hauled away so I could have the unit placed in my preferred position. After completing the install, they walked me through every aspect of the operation, and I even gained functionality with this new system to control our whole house humidifier through the thermostat (Ecobee Pro). The installation is so clean and looks amazing. We went with the Carrier Performance series. Both the furnace blower motor and outside unit are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than our previous HVAC system. If you are in the market for HVAC services, I HIGHLY recommend Genesis, without hesitation! The whole team is superb.

Speedy response to online appointment request system. I put in request Thurs evening and called at 730 the Friday morning and they already had me scheduled for 830-930. Chris came, quickly diagnosed bad capacitor, had us up and running by 945. He verified everything was up to spec. I felt their charge was reasonable especially considering they got it done so quick on a Friday. Highly recommend Genesis!

Our experience was efficient and thorough. WE were quoted on a new Furnace and Air Conditioner on a Thursday, confirmed our purchase on Monday and it was installed on a Thursday. One week from start to finish. The owner and his technicians were easy to work with and to have in our home. Thank You Genesis Heating and Air. Highly recommend!

Tech was a good mix of professional and personal. Did not try to push anything. Found a couple of very minor issues and explained them to me. One issue he found I felt needed to be addressed. Did not have the part in the truck but said he would research and get back to me. I trust that he will.
