I had an outstanding experience with Global Heating and Cooling from the beginning by using their online service request form. They emailed me to set up a time for an estimate and Kamil came out on time and efficiently assessed the needed repair for my underfloor heating system. The quote for the work he provided was better than the other 2 quotes I had gotten and his professionalism really stood out. His team came out within a week and spent all day long working on the system. When they noted that a change was needed to how they had set something up, they corrected their work immediately and at no additional cost to me. Kamil came back out the next day to review the work and demonstrate how to use the system. I would highly recommend Global for all HVAC needs.

This company went above and beyond my expectations in helping me get my AC back up and running at my office during the heat wave. I called around to a couple of different places and not only did they not show up, ask me to wait days, if they came they quoted me a unaffordable amount to replace a part. Global was able to come the same day and fix my AC at reasonable price. I definitely recommend them if you need quick, reliable, and affordable service.

This would be a 1 star but the actual technicians were nice enough, they are just following management's orders. But the woman who answers the phone is very rude, cutting me off everytime I try to ask a question, demanding that I stay on the line and pay immediately without giving me any time to think about the cost of what they are proposing. And speaking of the cost...they absolutely fleece their customers knowing that if your AC unit is broken in the heat of the summer and they are already on your roof that you are usually compelled to say "yes" to whatever price they quote. They told me that I needed a new capacitor and possibly some more refrigerant and quoted me $800, well I looked online and the actual cost of the materials is <$100. When I asked the woman who answers the phone if she could break down labor vs material costs she refused and this is when she insisted that I pay right away without doing any of my own research. It's unacceptable to charge an arbitrary amount with no breakdown of the costs and then tell your customer that they are essentially not allowed to look into the validity of that cost. Do not use this company for AC repairs, and if you do make sure that you do your research on the cost of parts/repairs so you are prepared to push back when they overcharge you. In response to the company's response to my review: The cost of the visit was not surprising, but trying to fleece me with $800, and insisting that I pay the service fee immediately before doing any research was rude at best. And to clarify again, I was the one who asked to speak to the manager, global did not do anything on their own to try to rectify the situation. My communication with the operator was appropriate given her proclivity to interrupt and force me to respond only to what she said. BTW - we had another company come for second opinion and to fix our unit, while global said we needed a new capacitor THIS WAS NOT TRUE. The other company refilled our refrigerant for $250 and we were on our way with a working AC unit. Again, DO NOT USE GLOBAL HEATING AND COOLING when you have much better options out there.

Overpriced for repair of AC capacitor. Charges $380 for replacement not including service call fee as well. We weren’t told the diagnosis until after technician had replaced the capacitor. I was told after that they needed to install the capacitor to make sure it worked as the reason for not being told the diagnosis. Seems like a common complaint by few others as well. Would recommend getting quotes elsewhere.

Vlad is the best. Our AC went out the night before we were having a party. We called him at 5am and he was here 5 hours later - fixed everything! Kind, quick, and professional. He’ll be out go-to guy from now on!

Patrick did an incredible job replacing our furnace. It was a complex install because the old furnace was original to the condo construction and tucked into a closet in such a way that it could not simply be slid out (ducting on one side, wall on the other side, doorway jutting into the space in front of the furnace). The first contractor we talked to claimed we would need to destroy the drywall doorway, swap the furnaces, and repair the wall. The second claimed we would need to remove and rebuild the ductwork to the left. Patrick saved us from these destructive, expensive, and time consuming options by dismantling the old furnace to remove it. Seems obvious now, and I can't believe no one else suggested this. We are so pleased with this outcome. We got our AC replaced at the same time and this was thankfully very uneventful! Great job to both Patrick and colleague who came out yesterday. Highly recommend 🙂
